Nicely done video. Much respect for senior citizen Sammy still wheeling a 900 hp animal in the WoO.

I'll never forget how smooth Kevin was in the Tom Rolfe trucking non-wing car at Calistoga. USAC show, surface was slick and abrasive. Kevin outclassed the field by half a lap. Smoothest drive I've ever seen.
Tops his dad passing Kaeding on the last lap of a NARC show at Stoga.

Great to see you still racing...I can remember watching you and your dad race at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, AR...we owned East Memphis Auto Parts... sponsored Elmer Gray and Ray Bugg... great memories....

When I was around 10 or 11 (I think) which would be late 70's. Sammy was the first guy that pulled into my local dirt track with an enclosed trailer. He was driving the Nance house car at that time. I think Steve Kinser was the only other team that had one. I will have to put Tri-State speedway on my bucket list.
Killer place and man they are haulin' the mail. Love the videos guys, thanks for posting

Think Again. Karl Kinser was *THE LAST* to get an enclosed trailer

@@raymond3803 I'm lucky I remembered the enclosed trailer deal. That was many many moons ago. Man those were the days.
Kieth Kauffman was sitting beside his trailer one morning. I was picking the rubber out of a right rear tire after he grooved it. We had all camped at the track and I asked him what the difference was between driving a midget compared to driving a sprint car.
Kieth said, "a midget goes where you want and you just kind of AIM a sprint car".
      I will never forget that.

looks like your father is struggling with too much left rear weight. I thought from the past your father likes right rear weight. I only say that because when ever the has blown a tire from wear it is the left rear not right rear. Also if you watch the incar you can clearly see, entering the corner he is the same, mid he is gaining a little, but off the corner he is loosing so much ground.
