- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a roadshow for the party’s candidate in Malappuram, Kerala on April 22. Speaking over the BJP’s mission south, CM Himanta said it is a myth that BJP cannot win south, BJP has the highest number of parliament from the south than the Congress.
He said, “BJP has the highest number of Members of Parliament more than Congress from South India as well as we have the highest number of representation in Rajya Sabha. So it is a myth that the BJP cannot win South India. The future of South India and the future of the BJP are interlinked. BJP will definitely win in South India. And the people of South India will keep BJP in their hearts.”
