Do you reset the upgrades you made to your hero? Do you keep any tokens (salve and/or others) on your hero board? In other words, do you start with a clean slate before the Boss Battle?

I’m 3 years late to the game according to most of the comments.😅
But I really have been enjoying this game. I’ve had it for about maybe 3 weeks now and I literally find myself going through like portal crawl and boss battles without realizing how much time flies by. It’s SO fun!
I’ve even been able to play with my mom and boyfriend which I really appreciate the cooperative nature of.
I am still confused by the turn order of the boss battle.
If, for example, it’s me and mom against a boss should the turn order be:
    Me, mom, boss
    OR
    Me, boss, mom, boss?
And how can I tell who the active player is if the turn order is the first? (It seems that way the boss just targets the same person with stat debuffs which could be frustrating).

Welcome to the channel, and thanks for watching. Glad you're enjoying some DTA!
It's been a while since I last played, but for turn order during the boss battle (using your example) it would be YOU, then BOSS, then your mom, then BOSS. So effectively, the each player's turn includes a hero step AND a boss step (and you can also spend salves before both of those steps).
That should answer both of your questions, so best of luck with your next adventure! 😁

In addition, you will only ever keep any 1 or 6 ONLY if either completes a Small or Large Straight. For example, you would only ever keep a 6 as long as you also have either a 3,4,5 or a 2,3,4,5 already rolled. Same with a 1, but just on the other end of the straight possibilities. Make sense?

True solo? As in controlling only one character? Interested in what MVM thinks running this co-op with a single hero!

@@DireMcCann its been awhile for me but I fairly certain I played this with one character. I could be wrong cause I prefer to play two handed at least. You won't be disappointed anyways. This game is off the charts if the prototype I played is any indicator.

    “Sav”?

Ha! We did in fact discuss that pronunciation, and "Sav" is the common American-ized pronunciation that we went with.

Really? To be honest, playing the game for me (David), it's more about just progressing more than it is about the score anyway. With that said, I think the score sheet is great given that it's a campaign game.

@@meeple So you ignore the statement via your first line, by bringing up something which is just a personal opinion, not dealing with factual. Typical MvM reviewing, personal feeling not breaking down the facts. I remember this back with I think Outer Rim I think it was. Lol

@@juhpuh1985 Actually I never said the game wasn't to my taste, thanks for putting words in my mouth. However, it's amazing that a player can have an opinion, about an element, and immediately gets attacked for it. Good showing.

@@juhpuh1985 Wrong. Not your intention is highly skeptical. I didn't say it wasn't to my "taste", again you're bringing emotions into the conversation, where there were none to begin with. But again, typical just skirt discussions, for an opinion piece.
