Not to mention the fact if you DID commit to that fire call you would have had to use ult for secure meaning you would not have gotten the clean-up that happened afterwards and it would've ended even worse than it did.

Yeah resetting after gold & pyro was %100 the move, why get a huge gold lead and the pyro buff and not use it? Instead they just fed revenge kills/shutdowns to close the gap. Not to mention they could have just stolen that shit lol
Exactly. Everyone's talking about how it really wasn't that bad of a call, but if you have to rely on the fact that the enemy team for whatever reason just don't respond in time to get away with it at all, maybe it's a bad call??? With the enemy team's CC and AOEs and with how badly his team was split before and immediately after FG, the best thing he COULD do in this situation was step away and try to go in for clean up.
that fire call was horrendous and the only reason you got away with it is because they are low elo and high elo ranked team would have shit on you and qiped you for doing that in their face like that the art doesnt know what they're talking about

That 21 min 1 into ult was nasty
Yea that fire call was bad for a multitude of reasons only reason why it worked was because the enemy team were slow to rotate for some reason even after hearing the dinner bell of pyro being slain. Everyone's low, baka just backed and then the call for fire after doing gold and pyro. Being missing on the map for 3 minutes can only lead the enemy team to assume y'all were doing fire.

So many people are crying about mages "one shotting people" early game, they are so getting nerfed next patch.

As far as i can tell yes you can get knocked over Ra 1 and Ra ult. Ive had it happen especially alot with Sobek pluck, pinch of salt that it could be a server or a lag thing but i have countless times seen someone take no dmg from my 1 during a knock-up as the visual goes through them.

I came back to Smite after a few years off bc of 9.5 revert, but mages feel kinda bad. Scylla 1, 2 combo used to be enough to kill a squishy late game, now it only does half to 60% of their HP. Crush hitting 500 dmg when used to deal 800. Full build with 540 power after passive when used to be around 800.
Maybe is a meta thing, Scylla might be bad at the moment, or maybe it's me. Maybe i'm not cut anymore to MOBAs, too much too keep track of.
Brother what, scylla is feeling great right now. and her 1 2 combo can definitely kill squishies atm. I think you must be building badly. I mean sure you might have to get 1 poly proc in there too but I,ve killed some squishies as scylla with just root + poly not even having to use crush.
@@Trick-iT I came back after years, built what i used to, Chronos, deso, reaver, tahuti, obshard, pendulum. The total pwr of this build is now about 250~300 less than i was used to. It didn't felt great
Brother maybe you need to build better, I feel like I have no issues with scylla one shotting.
@@Mathewrath So if you want to go with a pendulum build on her I would drop the chronos for sure and im seeing that your build is kind of missing the best scylla item when it comes to fighting squishies (Polynomicon).
Give her another go using one of these builds:
sands(pendulum @20), Deso, Divine OR DoomOrb, ObShard OR Charon's, Poly, Tahuti if they have 3 players building tanky then instead of Poly you build reaver but if its only 2 tanky characters Id argue poly is better.
Alternative build
conduit(Gem of focus @20),chronos OR doomorb, Deso OR Divine, Charon's OR Obshard, Poly, Tahuti
Alternative build gives a stronger early game with a still very good lategame.
Ofc everything still has to be adapted a bit based on what comp you're against but thats part of learning when to build what.
I'm pretty sure you're both right. You didn't used to need Poly. Power was nerfed, but I do think Scylla still feels pretty good. The issue is you need a 3k pot to feel like she did in her prime, but she can get there.
Not a good fire call from the team. But when you’re dealing with randos and you’re the secure you kinda have to help them

the call wasn’t great but you could’ve easily stuck around and threw abilities at it and they would’ve gotten out. you knew you were against a lower elo team, they had no idea till 2k hp that y’all were even on it. really wasn’t that bad when you think abt what kind of lobby you were in. little bit of an overreaction on your part for sure
