The second hand nostalgia is an odd but good feeling. While I have never owned or played this particular game I have play games like it. I like the paint scheme you chose. It makes me think of my 90s action figures.
The 90s squarespace commercial was a nice dose of nostalgia too.

I only learned about this game a couple weeks ago from you and Always Bored Never Boring and immediately picked up a dozen of the orc models because they are damn near identical to a certain monster from my favorite video game. Yo when I was 6 (2006) a guy from the texi station on my block gave me a giant box of miniatures which I remember loving dearly. Most of my childhood toys were lost when I was around 14 and among them were those minis. Two years ago I got into the hobby of mini painting and one of the things that went through my head was finding those old models but I never knew what they were called, seeing that manticore triggered a primal memory in me and also flushed me with realisation that the weird little halfling chef I thrifted and painted last week was actually from that game as well through a truly bizarre chance! So cool! Also I own that exact pink cats shirt lol.

ok so when I was very young, I went over to my sister's friend's house, and we played a board game (well, sort of, I was very young and mostly just wanted to play with the pieces). I can't remember much about it, except that there was a sorta 3d plastic dungeon, and a lot of minis, and a big plastic rattle that I kept wanting to play with, but I wasn't allowed because that was the end of the game. For decades since, I have been trying to find out what that game was. IT WAS DARK WORLD!!!!!! I FINALLY FOUND IT!!!!!
