  • Oftentimes, lending our phones for a quick call or browsing can inadvertently expose sensitive and personal information like bank messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, and other confidential files. To protect against such situations, here's a simple yet powerful solution.
Begin by navigating to your phone's settings. Scroll down and tap on 'Password and Security.' Next, scroll further and click on 'System Security.' From there, scroll down until you locate 'App Pinning.' Alternatively, you can directly search for 'App Pinning' or 'Screen Pinning' and select it.
Once you've accessed the 'App Pinning' settings, simply toggle the switch to activate it. Now, when someone requests the use of your phone, you can pin a specific app for their access.
Here's how it functions: Once they're in the app, they can freely interact with it, but they're unable to exit it or access any other apps. To pin an app for their use, access the app switcher, choose the desired app, tap on the three dots, and select 'Pin App.'
In case they need to exit the app or switch to another, they'll require your password or PIN. Just press and hold both the back and recent buttons simultaneously. Afterward, enter your password to regain normal access to your device.
This straightforward method not only safeguards your data and privacy but also helps avoid any uncomfortable situations. For more insightful tips and tricks, make sure to subscribe to my channel, give this video a thumbs up, and hit the bell icon for future updates."
