- I am Ruslana - singer from Ukraine, Eurovision Song and World Music Award (as best selling Ukrainian artist) winning artist.
Besides my musical successes, the social and political commitment has always been an affair of the heart for me.
I am the voice of Maidan (Revolution of Dignity, 2013-2014).
Being an active civic activist, I was included in the top 10 most influential women of 2013 by the Forbes magazine. In 2014 I was among 10 most courageous women and honored with the International Woman of Courage Award (an American award presented annually by the United States Department of State to women around the world who have shown leadership, courage, resourcefulness, and willingness to sacrifice for others, especially in promoting women's rights).
I fight for the economic freedom and energy independence of Ukraine.
In 2018 during the world’s leading exposition for wind energy WindEnergy Hamburg (Germany), I was appointed as the International Ambassador for Renewable Energy.
Today, being the eyewitness of Russian occupation of Ukraine, I'd like to appeal to US President Mr. Joe Biden, and the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg.
We are facing the War.
We are the first one to experience the format of this War personally.
Only we, Ukraine, can give it a clear definition.
All these terms as “hybrid war”, “psychedelic war” are not actual for now.
This is the civilization war against The World and Peace, against the Rules, Laws and Safety.
The world has to realise this as soon as possible!
The world is in danger!
Ukraine is the first to take the brunt and the fire from the author of this War - Putin.
Ukraine is the first to give the clear instructions: what to do in the situation of the the war never seen before, the plan how to act together to stop it in time before it’s too late!
Today I can state clearly: “Yes, I’m from Ukraine and I can see it. I’m facing this War and I know what I’m talking about”
We are asking for help! S.O.S.
Only together we’ll give the clear definition to this war and offer the most effective action plan!
What we need now is the clear instruction for the whole World! This is the Global battle between the treacherous attack without any rules and the civilisation laws, which must prove that they have force and action!
Here is the FIRST URGENT APPEAL:
We’r ready to protect ourselves with the only weapon we have, but the only thing we ask is to close the sky for us, arrange the closed flight zone above Ukraine. The WORLD and NATO countries CAN DO it!
And the SECOND URGENT APPEAL:
The Black Sea basin and the situation on the sea! The occupant can close everything with his ships, therefore NATO ships must patrol there - if this would be done, the situation would be different. It’s only the real FORCE that will make Russia recalculate those forces and resources which they are pulling up to our borders.
We, as the people who are now at the front line, can help the whole World! Before it’s not too late!
We are asking for help. And, at the same time, we are instructing! We - Ukraine - are saving the World! Can you hear us!? Act, please!

Ruslana was the first Ukrainian singer I heard (dances with wolves). When I think of the war in Ukraine, I imagine Ruslna in military uniform, carrying a M91/30 and picking off each Russian as they close in on Kyiv. I hope Ruslna is working on a war song or maybe she can remake "Ойся ты, ойся". My heart and best wishes are with the Ukrainian people. When Ukraine wins, they should be included in NATO immediately and Russia should be made to rebuild Ukraine before any sanctions are lifted. I hope the Russian citizens march on Ukraine in support. I desperately wish I could say help is coming. As a US citizen who, mostly, supports my _current_ government, but who is also a realist I do not think it is. Not real help. The US and NATO gave you up decades ago, and it's angered Putin that it has taken him this long to pull Ukraine back under his control. The only help that is coming will be to encourage you to resist as long as possible, to make your homeland as costly as possible to claim... but not to stop him. Putin will move to drive out your people and grind down those who resist. I believe it's his plan to force out or kill your leaders so he can finally install a puppet government who will welcome him. NATO only hopes to make it as costly as possible. The things you need, to deny the skies and the sea, would require direct conflict with a madman, a literal psychopath who might well be willing to take the whole world down with him and live out the rest of his days in a bunker buried under a wasteland rather than loose. I don't think that's a risk the rest of Europe and the US are willing to take. Not while Ukraine is the last space on the board to be taken. They hope to appease him, to use Ukraine as a costly delay to help keep him occupied while he grows older and weaker. They seek to put off direct conflict long enough it never comes. I fear it may be too late for that. I fear that, feeling his age and caring for no one but himself, he will push harder and harder knowing he has little left to lose. I admire the courage of the people of Ukraine. I followed the news of the Orange Revolution when it was largely ignored in the US and consider it the most inspirational political movement of my lifetime. Looking back now, I realize that when the EU and NATO didn't reach out after that, you had already been sacrificed. The lines on the map had already been drawn. I hope I'm wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

Ukraine has no chance against Russia because Russia has very very strong, powerfull and vigorous army, it has nearly 3 million of soldiers, that is why Ukraine is not being able to have victory against Russia, even 1 percent, I mean it can't defeat Russia, that is why Ukraine must not oppose Russia, if Russians want to invade and occupy land or any part from that country, than Ukrainians must surrender and give permission to Russians invade and occupy their lands because Ukrainian army isn't strong enought to fight and have battle against Russian army.
