The result from 3:20 doesn't see good for white in my opinion. Black is getting a big territory and white has strange shape which actually is heavier than normal ponuki. White should still take care of the group so its infuence is limited.
I also like black from 7:30. Black got a huge territory and white's moyo may be reduced e.g. playing shoulder hit to the last white move (as well as there left a bad aji for white, the cutting point ).
But these are only my feelings, you are much stronger so for sure, I'm wrong ^_^

Hi there! Thanks for the comment!
It could seem so but the result from 3:20 is better for white because black's territory is not that big, which is 15 points and white can make a lot of sente moves from both the top and right corner. White's ponuki is not complete but the outside group is still strong with the sente moves shown at 3:31. And more importantly this analysis is based on AI.
Also regarding 7:30, it's my bad not including white's sente moves in the top right corner in the variation. If you add the sente moves and look again, if might look differently.
AI also evaluates that it's slightly better for white at 7:30.
I would recommend you go with the variation at 9:42 if you don't still like white with the new way. The new way is entirely about taking away the position of building a wall and influence from the Cover Joseki.
