Beating stokes with speed... i have no words
He technically missed jamming him up on the line and Stokes stumbled very slightly- Stokes wonât let that happen again.
Negative .. he couldnât beat stokes with speed if he wanted to . If you ever played football and specifically CB .. youâd understand that if a CB misses that first jam off the line of scrimmage that WR will be open most definitely ⊠this isnât to highlight Stokes but Doubs ⊠his route running is great and his release is great .
Neither of you are wrong about the release. Stokes misses the jam. That gave doubs a step n a half. Once stokes hips are turned and the race is on romeo kept that distance and may have even pulled away until the catch was made.
He missed the jam because of the great release. His first move froze him

What are Doubs measurables? He looks like an Adams body type - maybe not as fluid yet, but athletic AF. And yeah it looks like Stoke just didn't get a good jam in and took a bad angle.
He's built perfect bro. 6'2" 208. A little smaller weight wise than Adams, but taller. But he's a rookie. And imo, he's Adams like.
He doesn't have Adams vert, yet beats guys repeatedly on 50/50 balls. He's just more athletic with pads on. He's that type of dude. A steal.
Adams really never took full advantage of his 39 inch vert anyway btw. Doubs had a 4.5 40 so he fell in the draft.
But bro, he's absolutely faster than that, and faster than Adams. I feel like he could slip in that role eventually. He's smooth, nice off the line, tracks the ball nicely, and hits full speed quickly
I'm still high on Watson too tho. He's a freak. Those two together will be a handful.
