Grant your servants all boldness to speak your word, Lord. This is my prayer.

I love the thoroughness of these scriptures. I woke up out of a dream and I was led to Acts 4. I saw this video after I listened to Acts 4. I’m so glad I tuned into this video. Very timely message after the dream I had. THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!! ♥️🕊🙌🏾

Abba Father, I bind the word of acts 4:23-30 for myself and the body of Christ to be bold to speak the word of God in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

i CAN empathize with you. However, I am learning that there is hope! You might look for a sermon my Sam Storms, on youtube and on Piper's page: "The Sin Killing Power of Christian Hedonism". It has helped me immensely. Praying for you! And thank GOD for the battle! That is a testimony to the reality of your salvation.

There are a few sermons or short talks through desiring God and apologia. There is one called what is lust? 6 steps to defeating lust by Ps. John Piper

Put your hope and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ that he alone, through the power of the Holy Spirit of His father will completely sanctify you and deliver you from all sin, yes even now!
Romans 6 , He freed us. We're no longer slaves to sin!

In your opening prayer before teaching you ended with "in your holy servant Jesus" NOT holy SON Jesus. Can you explain why? I am a bit disturbed by this and would love an answer. Thank you.

I imagine because the text in this LAB includes the wording "your holy servant Jesus" in verse 27. It's one of Jesus' names, which is used a few times in the Bible

If I may humbly answer your question as I am preparing my reflection on the same passage. It is because in the Greek language where this passage is written. The word used is indeed holy servant instead of holy Son Jesus (verse 27, the Greek word used is 'paid' which means servant). While at the verse 29 ESV translate it as "... and grant your 'servants' to ...." Peter & John, along with their friends actually addressed themselves differently. The Greek word used is 'douloi' which actually mean slaves. So in this passage Jesus was addressed as Holy servant of God; while Peter, John and their friends addressed themselves as God's slaves. Hope this help.

a correction on my writing, the Greek word use to address Jesus here is 'paida', not paid
