アニメを本当にそのまま引っ張って来たようなスーツ本当に好き。他のウルトラマンと並ぶと異質感があるけどそれがより強者感を醸し出してますよね。この歌詞が本当になる日も近いですよね
他のウルトラマン等と並ぶと１人、CGポイのよねーｗ

他のウルトラ戦士は銀色だけどジョーニアスだけ白色
小さいころから「なんでジョーニアスはスーツになると少しブサイクというか顔変わっちゃうんだろう？」って思ってたけど、新スーツはアニメからそのまま飛び出してきたような姿で最初見た時良い意味で衝撃的だったし、感動した！！！
ウルフェス2019からEXPO、そしてギャラファイ2と活躍してくれて嬉しい！！！！
技術的な問題ですかね。ただ当時はジョーニアスだけでなく、他のウルトラ兄弟もオリジナル時と比較すると再現度がイマイチだったと記憶しています。

初代マンやセブンのオリジナルスーツは、当時の撮影の使用で使い古されたり経年劣化で駄目だってのでしょうね。当時はまだオリジナルを忠実に再現する技術が未熟だった為、作品毎にスーツがバラついてましたね。
@@user-kb8bs4eq6o 怪獣は基本一回しか使わないから持つけど、ウルトラマンはずっと使いまわすし、発破や水などで傷みやすいんだよ。

@@user-rc6yy3hc8z そう捉える人もいるんですね。自分はU-40の確認とたまたま？出会ったジョー二アスの力量確認が済んだから次の準備のために移動したようにしか見えなかったって感じです。
要するにタルタロスは打ち負かされて撃破されたのではなく、用が済んだから撤退したように見えたって話です。

改めて見ると最初のスーツの「違うんだよ母ちゃん！」感が拭えないｗ当時としてはこれが精一杯アニメに似せたんだろうけど、令和バージョンのスーツは本当にアニメと寸分違わない完成度で「円谷プロの造形技術すげー！！」ってなったｗ

Loved how Tsubaraya Productions retconed Joneus as U40's strongest warrior showing us that he is stronger than we think. Nice to see him back in Ultra Galaxy TAC and TDC.

It's a shame that Ultraman Joneus anime show was cancelled after 1 season while the OG Gundam show succeeded and created a stellar franchise. But I'm glad Tsuburaya Productions brought him back in Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy and The Destined Crossroads.
they made him clash fists with tartarus
Ultraman Joneus was cancelled in favor of the usual Live Action I believe, but in its span, it outgrew and outpaced Gundam, if Tsuburaya continued, I think Gundam would've been lesser or even got outright cancelled by the fame and favorability of an Ultraman anime.

To be fair, atleast Tartarus still went in and took his time to fight Joneus, whereas he just straight up dimension dipped in cowardice as soon as Legend popped up

Yeah, as much as I like Jonias(one of my all time faves), he's nowhere near the same level as freaking Legend.
I doubt that.. tarturas just was worried once when legend came against him.. tarturas fought against joneus without using his full strength and yet he gave tough time to him.

He may not have started in live action, he may have been considered a joke for a time, but he is STILL the strongest Ultra on U40! One of the best not to come out of the Land of Light! A hero that is sometimes forgotten, but will always fight! Ultraman Joneus!!!
Even better in UGF TDC prologue, Zero ACTUALLY tell Joe he have a better time against Tartarus compare to when Zero fight Tartarus stating Joe is way stronger.. heck, even Zero beg Joe to train him.. man, it's really nice to have a writer being fan of Joenus.. XD

Personally I would compare the Ultras from the land of light to Arthurian legends. The Ultra Brothers can be the equivalent to the Knights of the round table... except less fucked up. Idk maybe u guys have better comparisons.

ジョーニアスさんはスーツの造形技術が向上し、筋肉の表現ができるようになってアニメから飛び出てきたような素晴らしい造形のスーツをウルフェスのショーという最高のステージでのお披露目がカッコ良すぎた。そして、ギャラファイでもその強さを遺憾なく発揮してくれたおかげで本当に誰もが知ってるウルトラ戦士というのがしっかり定着したのが最高。

The new live action suit for Joneus looks much better than the old 1979 one
In this year the suit is differ it looks like it has muscles and a round line bottom of the head
They tried to mimic the style of the animated series where Joneus had muscles and shit and i myself think they did a good job

ウルトラシリーズが休止期間で、アトラクショーも下火だった幼少期、記憶してる限り唯一のウルトラマン握手会に来てくれたジョーニアスは、ずっと『ぼくのウルトラマン』だった。
ギャラファイで活躍する姿を見た時はいい年して泣きそうだったし、こうして世界中のウルトラファンがジョーニアスを語る場が出来るなんて、昔は想像もしてなかった。
良い時代だよ、ほんと。

The new Joneus suit looks beautiful, even with the anime-accurate bright white instead of the typical silver on most Ultra suits, and definitely better-looking than the 1979 suit we only saw like once or twice. Plus, one thing I kinda never liked about the old 1979 Joneus suit is the kind of blocky, squared head, it kinda looks off to me, I’m glad they fixed it with the new suit and made it more true to the anime
Yeah they tried to redesign him to look as blocky and as skinny as possible, I would much prefer the new suit as its much more muscular like the anime version
Part of the reason the old suit not very good is that it lack muscle like the anime version. and like you said it Make joneus look off and weird. Like he is just a kid in low quality suit.
ガンダムとほぼ同期のジョーニアスが今の時代に最新の映像技術で蘇って,1/1ガンダムが横浜に立ってると思うとなかなか感慨深い。
個人的に昭和ウルトラシリーズのOPで一番格好いいと思う。いつか五大戦士が実写で観られるといいな😁

@@KEVINYT-hq3kz Funnily enough, even Zero say Joe have a better fight with Tartarus than him. Of course I don't think Joe have any chance if Tartarus use projectile attack since even he struggle a bit when destroying small attack from Tartarus.. but I think Zero implying in terms of close combat, Joe is stronger than him (not surprising since he is the strongest warrior on his planet lol).
Zero have to stack his power up while Joe can fend off in his own base form (must be because of that muscle). But since Joe will train Zero.. he probably will surpass him (until another ultra power creep happen haha).

The moment Tartartus said U40, I was like no you mean.!?!?!?!? When Joneus appeared I lost my mind like a kid on Christmas day singing his theme song 🎵. I'm happy to see one my of all time favorite Ultra Warriors back in action and showing why he's both the Strongest and Mightiest Ultra Warrior 👊 ✊️ 🤛 🤜.
This song is awesome. It's like straight out of a Japanese dub Captain America cartoon from the 70s.
To me this is probably the most heroic sounding Ultraman theme.

I was marking out like crazy hearing this in last week's episode of Absolute Conspiracy.
実写版スーツの姿は、小さい頃に買ってもらったソフビ人形の為だけと思ってましたので、この共演は素晴らし過ぎの嬉し過ぎであります！！
当時として、これだけのクオリティだから、また今の技術でアニメ版ウルトラマンをやったら、どぉうなるだろうという楽しみがある💫
多分SSSS.GRIDMAN並のクオリティーだったりして
当時のサンライズの外注班は自社製作班より良いメンバーだったそうです。

特撮より製作費安いって云っても、メインスポンサーはポピー(バンダイ)、制作局はキー局TBS、放送時間はゴールデンですからね。

1979 until now(2021)...the nostalgic anime Ultraman
確かジョーニアスのスーツの初登場は、1981年か1982年で私がまだ小学生の頃だったかと思います。
当時の顔は、ホントに丸っこくて「えっ？これがジョーニアス？」と思うほどでした。
福岡市東区香椎に「アピロス香椎店」が存在していた頃、ウルトラマン80までのウルトラマン達が大集合(ウルトラの父・ウルトラの母も勿論)しましてのショーが行われ、隣町に住んでいた私は香椎まで出掛けたのです。
いやぁ豪華でした。
しかし土日ではなく平日の夕方だったよう(←少し記憶が曖昧)で、観客には周辺の中学・高校の女子生徒達が多く詰めかけ、ショーを見つつ「お姉さん達可愛いなぁ」などと思っておりました。
