- The farm stand has been doing Great! Last month I split some Shorter wood for a neighbors Pizza oven. I have the perfect equipment and setup to do it so let's give it a go. #sidehustle #workfromhome
@WolfeRidgeSplitters - Zábava
Yea, making this small of splits on my SHO would be a headache for sure.😉👍
Well done
Thank you!
Great idea,I think I'm going to try and wholesale some in my area.
Very nice thinking outside the box. Be good way to burn cutoff’s. Should be able charge a premium. Keep up the good work.
Very true with cut offs! Thanks!
Looking good!
Great idea! I’d love to do that!
Thanks! I always like to offer more
Excellent work my friend!
Thanks Bob
Definitely a 🍕 home run right there Matt…! I def. need a vertical machine in my life for my barkless smoking wood bundles…!! Split on 💨 brother…!!!
Thanks! So fun running vertical splitter
@@lillysfarmfirewood Will you split up 8” pieces and season in totes or crates for 6 months? Or do you have RTB oak you can sell for pizza 🍕 now….??
@kenskuts I have a wood shed I might use have to figure it out right now I have a a lot of oak 16 inches almost ready.
I make splitters for pizza wood and kindling.. get yourself a kiln and roll up your sleeves.😊
A 70+k kiln for a bag of firewood that he sold for less than $20 lol
@@coreym5072 your an idiot arent ya..
@coreym5072 im just glad god didnt bless you brains. Do you realize how many 10lb boxes of wood fit in a semi trailer.. 70 grand is a small cost but than again a 10 grand kiln is all ya need for firewood. But hey your an expert.. right!!! Lmfao
Looking good! Glad you found that other batch of pizza wood last month under that snow storm. Another great idea.
Thanks spring time is close
Looks great! That's got to be at least $20 bag. I have been think about doing some apple wood for smoking similar to that. I was thinking 12in first but 8in makes sense then you can to 2 rows
Thanks Yea for sure going to need to make an option for smaller bag because that’s a-lot of pizza wood.
That thing makes some nice splits brother, I like the different color bags too for different products you'll be offering. You're always thinking of cool ideas to expand. I love that about you man, keep it up!!! Tell the family I said hello and happy Sunday 🍻
Thanks man had a lot of fun with this one running 2 cameras.
I have been saying for years after my brother-in-law got a pizza oven that there would be a market for small pizza wood. Having that VS makes it possible! I have made some smaller splits for select people on my horizontal but it’s very time consuming corralling the small splits. That work table on the vertical makes it worth it. Good luck on the Pizza wood Matt👍🏻👍🏻
Yea so many people have little pizza ovens by me. I couldn’t imagine making this small wood on my SHO
I do believe you have a home run on your hands Matt . Great idea !!👍🏻🍕
Thanks! Maybe I’ll get some free wood fired pizza from a customer!
Can you imagine how much pizza wood it would take to fill an IBC totes? It would definitely e worth a lot,…that’s for sure.
Yea definitely! I feel like thrown in loose it would fall out the holes too
Great idea Matt! The VS definitely is ideal to make your pizza wood👍🪵🍕
Thanks yea I am getting fast with this machine. Had to buy some pizza while making this video 😂
That’s some really nice stuff Matt. Just curious how long that’ll take to dry. That 17 vs is the perfect machine for making precise bundle wood or pizza wood. What is that blue trailer in the background? Looks like a mini dump trailer. Please give us a video on it and the rest of your equipment.
Cheers Woody !!!
Thanks woody that’s an electric cart I got from a friend. Split this size I can get it to dry in 6 months maple or cherry half that.
Good morning Matt
Excellent idea, very nice product, I’m sure it will sell. How much will a bag that size sell for at the stand? Also did you buy different bags for the pizza wood (not a bag from globe). Have a great day after all the rain we received yesterday!!
Hey! I got them bags from northern woodsman just for pizza wood. So much mud in the wood yard today
@@lillysfarmfirewood
Ok Thank you!
Yes same here very wet and just got another heavy shower.
Have a great day
I think a soft wood like red or white pine would be a better pizza wood. Dries faster and lights easier. Figure out how to make non-toxic fire starters and do that with the pizza wood...The wood you are making is too big...
Yuck 🤢 pine would be gross the smoke makes everything bitter
