Fun fact: Fury Falls is based off the Salto de la Novia (or Bride's Leap) in the province of Castelló. The story behind the waterfall goes that when couples were going to get married, brides had to jump the river at this point to prove that the love for the couple was true, and if they succeeded, the marriage would be a happy one. But once, one did not succeed, and she was caught along with her boyfriend, who rushed to rescue her by a whirlpool of the river, where they both died. They're definitely not Nemona's parents. In Area Zero, Nemona says her father is the CEO for the Rotom Phone Company, and since Billy runs the Paldea Realty Company with O'Nare, it can't be them. Billy and O'Nare don't look anything like Nemona anyway! And to be fair to the people of Kitakami, one million yen is over 6,730 USD in 2023, so the real cost for it is much lower. Glitterati is a term from the 1950s and it's a combination of glitter and literati. Literati means someone who's interested in literature, but glitterati means a wealthy person interested in show business, the word back then referenced not only glamour but also to a level of artistic merit.
Fun fact: Mossui Town is based off Morioka in Iwate, same prefecture that the real city of Kitakami is in. Morioka is the capital of Iwate Prefecture, and is located at the confluence of the Kitakami River and its two tributaries, the Nakatsu and the Shizukuishi. It is usually considered the gateway to the Hachimantai mountain range. This checks out with the town being located right next to a river and located just south of Oni Mountain. Morioka's flag has a white symbol on a green background, similar to the flag flying in Mossui Town.

I mean... 1 million pokedollars is basically 1 million yen, which translates to around 6700 USD... Which for three artisan stonemasons working over what was likely a day and a half, that sounds like a reasonable enough rate, if not potentially a steal.

I didn't even catch the pun in Billy and O'Nare's names until playing Scarlet in Japanese (where they are called "Birio" and "Nea") , because I always said the lady's name first.
Also, I couldn't play this side quest at home (where I'm offline), because due to some glitch, fast travel in Kitakami on my secondary Switch doesn't work when I'm offline. I could fly to Paldea, but couldn't return to Kitakami. Does anyone else have this problem?

I don't like those two rich trainers but I do like what they were wearing if they were Nemona's parents they would treat her badly like she's actually rich or a celebrity. I don't believe that they are her mom and dad at all. Also they don't look like her either. Also there should be a Orgepon statue it deserves one. Also I love that new colorful outfit it looks so pretty.

This might be Nemona's sister, not MOM. Like we know Nemona's parents are very hands off, and might live across the entire world, and she just lives with her sister and her husband.

O'Nare might be Nemona's older sister though! Nemona told us in Area Zero that her "big sister’ll probably take over the business," and O'Nare reveals that she is the CEO of Paldea Realty (?). That makes Billy Nemona's brother in-law, which explains why he doesn't really look related to her while O'Nare kinda does (similar hairstyle, skin tone, maybe eye color??)
We can be quite certain they are not Nemona's parents nor O'Nare her sibling. Nemona's parents run the Rotom Phone Company, whereas O'Nare is CEO of Paldea Realty. Being rich is about all they have in common.

For those who are wondering, glitterati is a term from the 1950s meaning a fashionable set of people (who are famous, rich, fashionable, and attractive) engaged in show business or some other glamorous activity. It's a combination of glitter and literati, which are well-educated people with an interest in literature. Interestingly enough, Glitterati is used as a name for a dance crew from Dance Central 2 and 3.
