- Godspeed You! Black Emperor (formerly punctuated Godspeed You Black Emperor! and abbreviated to GY!BE, GYBE, or just Godspeed) are a Canadian band based in Montreal, Quebec.
Formed in 1994 in Montreal, Canada, the band has been highly influential within the post-rock genre. Working with orchestrated arrangements, the nine-piece group created tracks with wide dynamic ranges, a highly evocative use of instrumentation and sounds and uncompromising long form compositions. it is just a good feeling to know that there are people from all around the world, using their lifetime to watch this video and enjoy it like i do. using time to listen to music, because it's totally worth it. i see myself blessed because i can experience music like this :)

I care. I've seen them twice. First in 2001, and the second time 2022. Both great shows.Such a unique concert experience.
I love how David Bryant's the one making that clanging noise in the beginning and how it became more melodic in mladic!

i hate it. i was at this show, never got more chills from music ever than during this song. when i heard the version on the new album i was actually very dissapointed.

shit, i know i saw charles manson's creepy ass face flash on the screen on this recording of mladic at some point, i just can't listen to this song too much, it has a disturbing vibe, like the feeling u get when u drink waaaay too much whiskey n start hating urself, the world n everyone in it, feeling like every choice u made in life, led u to that exact, miserable point that ur doomed to repeat.
