What an early (op.15) and fabulous work! Why Korngold is so underrated? Only for he also composed music for movies? I don´t know exactly but the great Nino Rota is in the same case.
Korngold used to be underrated, but not anymore! He is now one of the most popular 20th century composers, his works are being performed everywhere and they meet with an enthusiastic response.
