Idk what better weather Mort is talking about. It rains 9 months out of the year and then we have summer.
Mort and I live a few towns over from each other, and the weather in CA has been unbearably hot for the last few years. It was 110 here recently. 😭
I know you’re prob like ‘our weather isn’t much better’ but I think it’s just preference on how people deal with hot vs cold, & dry vs humidity. Kinda picking the lesser of the two evils based on preference between those options. Especially if he grew up there and that weather is what he’s used to. Most of CA is desert, it’s a big change.
