great review! but curious about the scent more. you said at the beginning it isn't very overpowering. i personally am interested in strong smells that last. is this something that people around you can notice and, more importantly, pick up on and enjoy? or is the scent totally gone once it's in your hair? thanks!
This particular scent is very light - I wouldn’t say people will really pick up on it like they would a cologne.

Hey Matt, I was wondering, how does this compare (regarding hold) to the tropics matte clay, also to oasis? Cheers, awesome reviews!
Tropics has a waxier feeling so you feel it in the hair moreso than this - this one ends up feeling softer/more natural but does stay in place just as well. Oasis maybe is a bit stronger hold than this. Although, I haven't used the latest Oasis reform, so I'm not sure how that stacks up.

Which is closer to the styling cream hold, Orchid texture paste or Tropics matte clay?

My fav product is tropics matte clay by these guys...so really excited to try this. What are the main differences? Lighter? More volume?
Yeah Orchid is much lighter and more natural-feeling in the hair, versus the waxiness of Tropics.

This or morrocanoil texture clay for strong hold and matte finish + ‘feather weight’ feel?
I mean I would go with this. The Moroccanoil clay for me was too dry/tangly feeling and this feels nice and soft and lighter in the hair. Plus I feel this has a bit more hold too.

Both have great texture, this one I think has a bit more hold and is a bit lighter.
Nice review it feels like I am watching something like a celebrity high quality product something. Also will you do American crew products review because they are literally everywhere
American Crew in my eyes are like gateway products. They're better than say Axe or Old Spice products but for the price they charge there are so many better products.

@@dominik7701 I tried fiber when I was getting into products more and it was so tuggy and pulley I hated it but used it because I was ignorant to what else was out there.

At this point I have no plans to buy that. You're actually the first person to ask about anything Forte in a while. If enough folks wanna see it, I could check it out. But as it stands right now, I have no desire to spend any more money on Forte products tbh lol
just curious, you said this isn’t the worst application in terms of tug and pull that you’ve ever used, but I wanna know what product has the WORST application that you’ve tried?
Probably HDF Quicksand or their Two Ton styling cream - both bruuuutally dry with a lot of diatomaceous earth so they just made my hair feel like tangled straw
@@TDMStyle Quicksand is the worst product I have ever used, my hair does the same shit with diatomaceous earth if there’s too much in the formula. When it’s not overpowering in like say a gctb it’s an incredible ingredient though

Brilliant video, Salon Guy's 'Clutch' and '25 spray' has become a staple of mine thanks to your videos. Has anyone in the community tried Mason's 'sculpting clay', or seen any good reviews, from what little I have seen( Blumann's 4 haircuts /1 day vid), looks impressive with regards to texture and separation.
