Seems a majority of their b-sides/live jams that NEVER get released are pure gold. They should release a album dedicated entirely to those b-sides/live jams alone.
I remember working at foxwoods casino when this album came out and one of the girls I worked with got the CD before me and as we talked about it she said she didn't like it, that it don't sound like the RHCP, and gave it to me, anyways I remember running into telling her I was still listening to it and it was still my favorite CD at the time, still is. So so many great songs. One of my favorites is wet sand, slow cheatda, etc. etc. Don't know to this day why she thought Ithey didn't sound right . All I can think is she wanted a bunch of under the bridge songs. Love this album

The phone call can't be about his girlfriend being pregnant since his son is born in October 07. In this interview, they seem to be talking as if Stadium arcadium is just about to be released, so it must be approximately May 2006. The phone call must be about something else I guess!

You can get a record player for cheap; and a record maintains the analog sound of the master tapes and is a collector item.. Plus bigger artwork and there's usually other things involved.. You can even get better songs/records/EPs that are only released on vinyl too.. And then you can use mp3 for everywhere else.. Because CDs are actually crap plastic things with terrible digital sound..
