Hiking CALDERA BLANCA - The Best Volcano walk in Lanzarote

- Time to get away from the crowds and do some serious hiking on the stunning island of Lanzarote! Here we hike up to Caldera Blanca, a huge dormant volcano, an overall walking experience of just over 6 miles, crossing lava fields and rising up to the peak of the volcano itself!

Our weekend was a second DNF for us at Burghead geocache. Mind you there were a few looking for it as well and they DNF as well.
Amazing place and what a place to hide a cache.

Normally them noises go right through us but strangely whilst walking they're acceptable here Simon. Awesome craters it must be said. And awe is good for us they say. I'm left wondering who forged the first paths through the lava. Well, good on em they opened up a great mountain. All the best as always. Mark

Wow amazing scenery it looks so desolate there but very cool! Did you find it hot walking along the trail? our volcano walk in greece was so hot!
It was warm with a cool breeze, I'm sure it would have been hotter in summer months...
You do know these things can erupt after pretending to be dormant? 😂
Best one of these is the one in Maui but take oxygen! The Hawaii islands would make a great extended trip for you two in the future!
