Thanks for doing this. I think these are great scents. They are a little more tightly composed than TT. These are baroque and TT more operatic in my opinion.

Cicuta is my first V Canto fragrance. I purchased it because roses intrigue me and I like traveling down the path of them. I would say this is not a safe blind buy. The fragrance opens with what instantly hits the senses as sugared rose petals, that give way to the opening of the green stem (highly green as if you just split it with your finger) the sugar breaks in again, settles down, and then incense settles on the skin. When I want to feel like I am sitting on a throne this is the fragrance I reach for. I will be buying Mirabile next. (Blind buy).
Mirabile is simply amazing to my nose. I was waiting for this review to figure out what to try next!
Great you finally tackled this house Sebastian. I agree some are like Terenzi perfumes but it makes sense they are connected. I really love Mea Culpa because of you. I'm a patch ho like you. Excellent video. Keep them coming.
I like the challenge in fragrance. TT and V Canto have a wide array of notes and dynamic nuance. They have a variety and a complexity that keeps your mind and heart engaged. I have most of these. I enjoy both houses a lot.
I have Ensis because of you and I wear it daily as my signature scent. It's so good.
Recently, I bought three fragrances. They are: "Brioni for Men EDP Intense", Chopard "Oud Malaki", and Lalique "Ombre Noire". So far, out of the three, I've only tried the Brioni, and I'm enjoying it.
Always providing us with not just new niche fragrance houses, but SUPERB new niche fragrance houses - connected or not. Three cheers for Sebastian - again. Ensis would be my pick from this house.
I have only Ensis from this list it's a really beautiful green scent

I've sampled a few from the brand, the only one that speaks to me is "magnificat"
If I'm going to rank all of the fragrances I've ever tried or owned, then V Canto "Mea Culpa" might be in a tie for first place. I'm very glad I discovered that one. I have a backup bottle of it. I buy things from So Avant Garde, but there are better companies to buy full bottles of certain V Canto fragrances from. I bought some samples of V Canto fragrances from So Avant Garde. From V Canto, I also like "Arsenico", but I think that its performance is lacking. I think that the performance of "Mea Culpa" is good.
why do you think there are better companies for full bottles?

I own Stricnina and I swear all I smell is passion fruit lol. I can’t get any other notes at all but passion fruit lol. I enjoy it don’t get me wrong, but it’s straight passion fruit lol

I have Mirabile and I'm still on my journey of discovery with this fragrance but definitely an interesting twist on vanilla instead of being a simple straight up sweet vanilla.

The only fragrance I own from V Canto house is Mandragola.
I'm struggling with this house, but am still trying. I loved my samples of Ensis, so I bought a bottle, but now I'm finding it too metallic. I'm hoping the warm weather will open it up more. I also got Mirabile based on your reviews, but there's something in it I don't like. I give it another try every once in awhile in the hopes it will speak to me some day. Anyway- thanks for the reviews. I will continue exploring this house!
I can see it being metallic. To me it’s less metallic in the heat. But that’s just my nose. Try it and see maybe the same for you.
I highly recommend trying the fragrance "Mea Culpa".
I didn't like Mirabile at first either. But the dry down..! Oh my, it's good! So unique but inviting and mysterious to my nose.
I am so so sad you didn't get to try Mandragola. It's like the Gothic version of Atelier Cologne- Santal Carmin
