Catscratch is an American animated television series created by Doug TenNapel (also known for creating Earthworm Jim). It aired on Nickelodeon from July 9, 2005 to February 10, 2007. It was a loose adaptation of TenNapel's graphic novel; Gear, which in the series is also the name of the cats' monster truck.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I loved this show so much, I owned a Mr. Blik toy when Mcdonalds did a promotion for the show.

I agree I didn't like dogs very much cause they are noisy But i still like both animals. I would also take care of a dog even if i don't like dogs that much
I also love cats, despite being occasionally allergic (worst times I get hives, normally at most it's some sneezing). Frankly, they're like kids. They're fun... as long as they're not _mine._ Specifically because they can get on counters - something my dogs blessedly _can't_ do.
Catscratch is very underrated imo, I'm glad that you're the one who speaks about these obscure media. I'm also fond of your WWE videos, you should do more.

A show like this has to be underrated when it aired only on Nicktoons channel and only got one season. Goes to show how much faith the network had in it given their track record.

I don’t think it matter what his politcal views are when it comes to show. Because unless he got sweet contract that allows him royalties for his show whenever it is air. He ain’t getting any of that cat scratch. I love the show as a kid.

You do realize cats can be half brothers and still be from the same litter right which often causes the kittens to look different from eachother?
A litter of kittens can have different dads each. So it makes sense for the cats to look different while sharing the same mom.

I was just graduating high school when Catscratch first came out.
All I remember is the catscratch game on the nickelodeon website, it was fun if you had more than one person playing but otherwise you're just playing by yourself lol

I remember watching Catscratch in my youth, but other than certain moments and how the intro sounded like I couldn’t remember much until this point. Like I had zero memory of the show’s main premise until I saw this video.
Judging from this it looks like a fun and simple show to rewatch on occasion.
Although hearing that the creator of this and Earthworm Jim being a sexist-fuck lately is kinda concerning.

I don’t know, I thought the 3D animated TMNT reboot was pretty damn good all things considered, and I’m not even much of a fan of the franchise, not that I didn’t like the series. Although I did have some fond memories of the original cartoon, even if I had only seen the first couple episodes on dvd. To me TMNT was just watching Pokémon, in-that I loved it as a kid and somewhat outgrew it in my adult years, but they’re both still classic shows that I occasionally come back to every now and then.

Episode 5, Slumber Party
Catscratch was a show that I loved watching growing up. I also enjoy Doug Tennapel's comic Gear.
I am fan of his work but it's a shame he's a terrible person.
I remembered this show fondly and really wanted to get those Gear graphic comics so badly. Too bad the creator is a huge bigot on twitter a while back stopped me from getting them. Love the works, but never the person. Good job on this review. :)

You were harsh on the creator, most of the “transphobe” comments come from his tweets that were directly responding to a trans game critic who wrote a needlessly mean spirited article about earthworm Jim. He also doesn’t really go beyond saying “there are only two genders” in his views. Any creator that seems to go right of center is canceled these days so I think Doug is pretty cool for standing his ground and offering differing opinions despite the risk. His channel recently blew up and has 400,000 subs so there’s clearly a need for it.
I mean he literally takes a stance against human rights and has been disrespectful to people on several accounts; calling him a bigot really isn't too big of a leap from the truth.
