Tom Misch, for me, is one of the greatest artists out there right now
he brings great artists together and plays the guitar to them, which is an amazing skill. and then he vocalizes a bit, which he got better and better at, i agree. he envisions the music. his solo stuff isn't so virtuos as his collabs

Victor Stoudermire, you are so correct. I really cant stand to turn on the radio anymore. I keep hoping for something real, but I just keep hearing garbage. This collabo breathes life into my soul, brings the sun to my spirit. Im so glad that I found Tom Misch and now, Jordan Rakei. I am in heaven and have transcended the earths atmosphere.
Trying to find that down here in Florida is near impossible when you just want to go for a night out... When we went to a jazz club in Edinburg before we had the twins 7 years ago and it was exactly what we needed to fill our musical cups... it just felt soooo good and it didn’t matter what day of the week it was, there was ALWAYS good music. It was a breath of fresh air and Tom reminds me of them so much.

I have seen Tom Misch, Alfa Mist, Yussef Dayes, shows when they came to the Bay Area. They are are AMAZING live. I would love to see Carmody, Loyle Carner, Mansur Brown, and Jordan Rakei when they come to Oakland or San Francisco. Oh I also saw Dave Santan!!!
