  • Orica Chief Executive Sanjeev Gandhi says the company's return on capital is “far superior” in the US when compared to Australia, due to the gas pricing and laws.
Orica is the world’s biggest commercial explosives company and manufacturer of cyanide used for gold extraction.
“That’s why all the focus we spent in the last year or so has been in scaling up our business in North America and the … opportunities for growth that come with that,” Mr Gandhi told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“Sovereign manufacturing for Orica in Australia is crucial, I am committed to this, but I need a little bit of help.”

You may have better luck if the "Australian" company was run by an f-ing Australian with some loyalty to the country.

We should be mining ourselfs and keep the money in Australia.
