So over the last few years, the JBL Partybox 110 has been my favorite mid sized box speaker to recommend… and I feel that the 110 is more than enough for most people, it sounds good, it get very loud off of its internal battery, it has a ton bass, and it has a really good looking light feature. But now, we have the JBL Partybox Club 120 which more refined and it has some important upgrades over the 110. Nonetheless, today we’re going to see the the Partybox Club 120 is all about and we’re going to see if it worth upgrading if you already have the 110.

120 has some nice upgrades and I definitely like the swappable battery But they should have kept the rubber bumpers from the 110 so you could lay the 120 on it’s side! Thanks for the video!

So I have the 110 and I must say that I will not upgrade because I really like the 110 and it’s light feature und I prefer the position of the Tweeters because I do yous the 110 often on the side, and another reason why I will not upgrade is that my 110 is not that old.
I also use my 110 sideways, I think the orange rubber is what makes the speaker unique, they screwed up with the 120

Hi, have you updated the PB110 to fw version 1.38.0? There are people complaining on reddit about less deep bass but I have done the update and noticed no difference, but I must admit that I hadn't used it for a little before. Could you please let me know?

JBL will bring an update than it will be wireless connection to the other TWS speakers like 110. Because auracast is an open standard and will be compatible with TWS speakers.
I can’t review stuff on features that haven’t arrived yet. When this comes out I’ll make a video. But for now, this is what we have.

JBL party box should have a features like you can use it as a subwoofer on car like the jbl basspro go.
Portable speaker but when docked on a car it only play bass and will sync to car audio system.

Yes
Think for home use the 120 is better and especially if you get 2. The 320 will just sound so bassy in smaller rooms. Remember they are made for outdoor use from the start. So you will get a way more balanced sound with the smaller 120 vs 320. Stereo is also a bog thing at home, nothing beat it.

Is the 320 worth the $200 more if I only ever plan to use in my garage and my small backyard? Debating one getting 1 speaker and either 320 or 120 but would save money if I don’t need a SUPER loud speaker
depends if u prefer deep bass or not. I can only speak for the 110/310, but the same principle should work with the 320/120 aswell. So the 310 and 110 both have 45 Hz as there deepest bass on paper, but the 310 goes down to 33 Hz and the 110 only 41 Hz, which is a big difference if u like deep bass.
I have a partybox 310 and a partybox ultimate and I wanted to pick up the 110 but I'm not sure I should because of the volume difference. In your opinion is the partybox 120 enough of an upgrade to justify not being able to wirelessly pair it to my 310?

Yes you can take out battery and still use it. Just take out battery around 60% charge and check it every 3 months, charge it a little to 60% again if needed. I would probably use it with battery now and then so battery doesn't go fully bad.

You charge it though the speaker which is a let down. I know this because I have the xtream4

If I had to choose between the 110 and 120, I'd go for the 120. It has better sound, gets louder, and looks better.

Пожалел что взял . Лучше бы 2 - 110 оставил . Для моих ушей звук резче чем на 110 , я бы сказал звук 110 приятнее звучит чем на 120 . Не знаю будут ли обновления и пофиксят ли это , либо это из за смещения верхнечастотников на верхнюю часть колонки . Для тех кто не понимает боковые ножки убрали именно из за этого . На 110 верхнечастотники посередине поэтому ее можно было ложить, со 120 это выглядело бы глупо . Кто хочет купить для квартиры не советую , 2-110 идеально . Я также купил boombox 3 WiFi , вот он действительно подойдет для квартиры . Играет довольно чисто , но опять же через вай фай и через приложение Deezer . Свою цену в принципе оправдывает . Слушаю рок музыку в приорите да и разную тоже , рок нормально отыгрывает как и попсу и рэп . В общей подытожим , boombox 3 WiFi для квартиры , для дачи или дома 2 -110 не пожалеете .

Diffrence is not huge it's about 4 to 5 DB.

I would not reccomend the 320, tried it for a couple hours and then returned it. it was pretty damn loud but the small tweeters make it loose some of the mids.
i currently am trying out the 120 and i really do like it, the sound is alot brighter than the 110 for sure. it is noticeably louder as well.

the 120 had much deeper bass
320 wasn’t terrible, but for its size i was very much so underwhelmed
the 120 bass is clean but surprisingly deep, definitely a step up from 110

You should be able to connect any speaker wirelessly together via auracast, no matter what kind of speaker it is. That means even JBL partyboxes should be able to connect to Sony speakers as long as they have bluetooth 5.3 and support auracast.

No the 110 has good bass but when u go 75 percent volume it will crack and you’ll need to play with the settings it’s not as loud as u think it is I’ll definitely get the 120 or 310
