A lot of people say that Jiří is BEAST. I don't think so. Jiří is a very phyllisophical person who protects us from the animal he keeps inside him and lets it out only in the cage.

He's one of my favorite fighters due to his mindset and philosophies. As an analyst, though; I don't see him being a dominant champion.

I'd love to hear a conversation between Jiri and Jones, seeing as Jiri is an insightful, genuinely good person, a warrior poet and a true paladin, and Jones is just a douchebag.
I think Jiri is one of the many reasons Jon moved up a weight division...not that he will ever fight Francis either🙄

I cant see how Glover wins this just imagine even if he takes jiri down there is no chance 42yrs old Glover will hold him and control jiri on the ground when he explode and even if he will jiri fought many fights with good graplers (Ivan nemkov,brandon halsey, karl alberktson) young guys His ground is also very good

Solid interview. Jiri opens up a lot. Basically said his toughest fight was on him because he was partying or doing whatever he was doing and wasn't in great shape. Says he thought he could rely on his skill and experience, but he changed that. This guy is a savage.

Jiri is one of my favorite fighters. However, this is the worse possible matchup for him. If Glover takes his back, he will get choked out. If he keeps it a striking match, he will win.

My only issue is the takedowns hence why im picking glover BUT if glover does not set up his takedowns he will get clipped before he gets jiri down and on the feet its a bit of too much to ask, Jiri hits too hard for him to stand with him.

Glover will enter range with furious punches - don't underestimate his striking......once Jiri is on the ground he is in Glovers world.
@@blaze1148 i agree he trains with beasts hence why i pick him to win jiri has not shown to hit so hard that wrestlers would run away in fact strikers like reyes or volkan actually stood and traded with him indicating he has power just not the kind that makes you back off completely.
Stylistically it really doesn't get much harder in the division for Jiri. Over drilling wrestling isn't necessary so this makes me a bit nervous. Glovers takedowns have improved but its not a power double leg like a wrestler will do, they are always well set up but not overly technical so its more about distance/movement and survival if he does get taken down. Jiri can take a severe beating and deliver it back 10 fold once he eventually gets up. All he has to do is not get choked out.
I'm old, so I'd usually be rooting for grandpa glover. But I gotta stick with my muay thai and kickboxing pracs. I'm excited for this fight. War hair, baby! Fn war hair!

Glover has always had a mean ground game. Jiri is a striking master so it will be interesting. Once J.J defeats Francis we need to see this matchup.
