Thanks for the video. I just got a B77, which my Bernina dealer wrinkled her nose at me and tried to sell me a $2500 machine instead. I already bought a 770QE from her and all I wanted is a machine to take to retreats and classes. I love my 770, but everything about Bernina is $$$$, even the bobbins. The B77 is lightweight enough for travel. I had to download the user manual, which was a little annoying, but overall I’m happy with this little machine. It has some nice features.

Thank you! There are not a lot of videos for us Bernette users. Would appreciate any thing you can put out there on the b79. I learn so much from these.

dunno if you guys cares but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf recently xD

Bernette is working on a new website that should help, I just don't have the resources to do those right now. Jeff

Thanks for making these videos! Love my B79, but it's spent a lot of time in the shop because my repair guy won't share any info on how to oil it or open it up period. Frustrating to pay $100 every few months for an oiling and $50 to remove a tangled thread caught inside. I've found that the needle plate can develop burrs if you happen to break a needle. That shreds your thread and you are dead in the water at that point. I've had to replace needle plates twice now in less than two years. At this point I have extras on hand. Thank goodness we can order them online!
Sure appreciate the help you have given with these videos. Bless you!

I agree, Bernina is putting more attention to education for these Bernette machines event a new website in the future.

I bought a Bernina 535, and after watching the videos for the b79, i felt it was worth my while to invest in this combination sewing/embroidery unit instead investing almost as much money in the embroidery module for the b535, because the cost difference was minimal, and i get so many cool features on the Bernette that only the more costly Berninas have.

Thanks so much for these videos.... i just purchased one of these, and since there’s no manual that comes with it, i haven’t flipped through the online, downloadable manual yet. So i can save your video and see how to do it for myself. Very helpful demo on how to remove the end cover safely without breaking something.

Thanks Jeff. Great instructions. The only manual for the b77 is online which is a pain. Not everyone has a computer beside their sewing machine. I printed some of the pages

Jeff, Is there an easy way to adjust the timing on the B79? I live in a very rural area and can't keep heading to a dealer for a repair. It seems the B79's timing easily gets out of sync.
