I would have put Prim’s death as the saddest because the whole reason why Katniss volunteered to be in the Hunger Games is because she didn’t want Prim to die and at the end of the series Prim still ends up dying.
i disagree, prim was literally katnisses little sister that she tried to protect. the whole motive for keeping katniss alive was prim, that was the books entire motive and suzanne collins just shit all over it by killing her off.

what about cato? he was ripped apart slowly and excruciatingly painfully and it took like 10 hours for him just for katniss to put him out of his misery. he wasted his life and just learnt the truth too late. he lost clove (his possible love of his life) and left everyone he loved, just for them to die and him left by himself to be killed by 2 district 12 tributes, letting down his district. he failed his entire life in his eyes, he deserved better. he was hypnotized, just as much of a victim as the other tributes

Tresh in the book was killed by Cato, and we saw only got to see his face on the sky, and in movies we heard him scream, canon, and then his face was displayed in the sky
The number 1 is reserved for prim and second for finnick. Finnick still had a life a son he left behind a legacy. Prim shouldn't die that is why Katniss volunteered and it didn't help in the end

I personally would have put Cinna and then Finnick as the top 2 because Cinna just wanted to help Katniss and yet he still gets beat to death by peacekeepers seconds before the 75th annual Hunger Games plus it must have been really painful to have it happen right in front of her (and you can hear the pain in her voice when she screams ❤️🩹). I then think Finnick is second because he left Annie at home pregnant and then that letter that Annie sent them when she found out Finnick died to the mutts was just heart breaking. 💔

As a person who has suffered from depressive episodes, the end of mockingjay legit made me feel horrible and cry bc Prim, Boggs, and Finnick passed.
