I swear I heard this on the radio a couple years back, which makes sense because K/DA is grew into a true pop sensation, which is absolutely deserved. And I can't help but find LoL's resident Kitsune absolutely gorgeous and stunning, especially in her "pop/Stars" and "More" outfits. I so wish she was real.

Everyone has mixed reaction because ahri was supposed to be voiced by Miyeon in G-Idle. But we got twice instead. Its good all in all, but the mishap made the song have less of an impact.

I didn’t know the group even existed despite being a fan of K-Pop, and despite the fact that Twice is a very well-known and recognized group globally. If my neighbor hadn’t shown me the music video for ‘Fancy’ one day, I might still not know about the group until this day. I didn’t support Twice right away because I knew nothing about the group, but all I did know is that I liked you from the moment I first saw the music video. Something about your smooth voice, other-worldly visuals, and captivating gaze had me mesmerized by you at the first glance. Since that was the first and only video I had seen of Twice at that time, you were the only aspect of the video that I could remember, but you stuck with me. Your presence lingered in my head and I couldn’t stop thinking about how awe-struck I was at the first sight of you. Some months later, I decided to return to the video, and after I realized how much I loved it, it’s been history ever since. Now, I am a dedicated Once, and have learned so much about the group and the music that I can’t believe I wasn’t a Once before. During the year that I took to know you, I realized that you stood out to me for a reason. Going through Twice’s discography, I have been able to understand why you caught my eye before anyone else all those years ago. I love all of the members, but your presence was unlike, and is unlike anything that I’ve ever seen before. I’ve never heard such a shimmering, stunning, and enticing voice like yours before. I'm a kid who grew up in the 90s and have fond memories watching Totally Spies. This song gave me serious vibes of the kind of music that show used to have and every single time I listen to this song, I tear up because I always imagine it as background music for the very last episode of that series where the credits roll; a sort of a goodbye.
And even if I just focus on the visuals of this song, it's so... different than anything else Riot has produced. Ahri is visibly so dejected and reminiscent in the video it breaks my heart. It's in stark contrast to all the other music dedicated to the K/DA cast which is usually so spirited and patronizing.
Can we give props to the whoever's in charge of translating and/or writing those subtitles? Because they didn't just put the English translation, they made sure that the lyrics were *singable.* Like... every K/DA has usable English lyrics, it's awesome

I feel like this is the depiction of memories of leaving her last pop group, her moment of nostalgia to her announcement to leaving (maybe? the picture seemed like she was announcing something), and perhaps her insecurities behind the whole KDA facade.
I get why people don't understand why she's not smiling at such a motivational song but for her, this song probably meant a lot and shown her having to leave a part of herself behind and have to move forward. MORE is such a showing of confidence but in honesty, I don't think Ahri is that confident that she isn't affected by her past. It is so prominent to see as she keeps looking at her older pics.
