It's better for avoiding tilt and keeping a positive mindset. Sometimes it's fun to talk shit, but acknowledging the opposing player's skill when they outplay you is straight up healthier.

Tip: look to the ground instead of up when you're getting blinded. That way you can atleast see survivors feet while they are flashlighting you.
Also it's harder for survivors to tell when your head is tilted down so they don't realize it wont work immediately.

I haven't played in a while, what's that perk do, the one which made you refuse to locker grab?
Decisive Strike. After a survivor is unhooked there is a period of time where they can stun the killer when they're grabbed again, provided they hit a skill check.
