This tofu dough from TikTok is quick & easy. But is it any good?

  • TikTok is a kitchen for fuss-free recipes, like the 3-ingredient dough that went viral over the summer using tofu, a quintessential Chinese invention and a permanent resident in my fridge. Creator Halle Burns used it to make gnocchi, tortilla and air fried puffs - so I followed suit. But does her recipe live up to the hype?

As long as you don't boil them, they also taste delicious!

I just made the air-fryer “gnocchi” “puffs” “whatever” and while I would not call it those things, they reminded me of soft-pretzel! Like little bread balls, so I dipped them in marinara sauce and it was SO good.

The little dough balls are very nice. I've made them a couple of times since filming this video. But not the "gnocchi". I don't care how many tiktokers swear by this recipe, it just ain't it for me.
