I'm a D'addario artist, simply because I LOVE and use their strings (they are the best IMO) check which ones I'm using here:

I feel like this went from folk to jazz to rock to flamenco back to rock, back to jazz. It sounded dope!
Truly... It's quite Amazing... Brilliant !
Impeccable arrangement
Mé oui !
I can't get over it it's so brilliant.
The better you know the original piece the more you will appreciate this awesome version.
The more you know about guitar, the more you realise how hard it actually is to put it together!
..and how much fun it is :-)
This is probably the best playing and re-arrangement of a piece of classical music that I have heard in 76 years. Brilliant.
He can't help but grin at 2:26, he knows how good this is.
Couldn't have clicked anything faster. One of my favorite pieces by one of the most insane guitar players I've seen.
Absolutely insane playing and an even more insane arrangement
I'm still tripping over this arrangement! So unreal.
Lucas Barr "All Killers, No Fillers"
okay this is actually fucking crazy awesome, I love guitar
The latter half was strangely metal. I like it!
Mozart IS metal!
sounded like opeth
A touch of metal never hurt anyone 😊
@@evgeniospagkalis9922 tell that to people in a sword fight
I just love how much the walking bass adds every time, really cool arrangement, glad you're back uploading regularly
The way you build the tension before the one minute mark is astoundingly brilliant man. I hope one day this gets the sort of recognition it deserves.
You are one of few solo musicians on CZcams who have good taste. Your arrangements aren't merely gimmicks, but have a lot of thought put into them and are competent compositions in themselves. Most importantly, your technique serves the music, the art, and not itself, and that's especially evident by the fact that a lot of what you do is not flashy (at least not to a layman). For instance, your clarity in playing independent voices is not something that the average Joe would appreciate, but is crucial in these types of arrangements and will definitely grab the attention of those of us who actually play the instrument.
Well said
Every time I see an upload from this channel, I click on it and play it behind whatever I'm doing, only to have my attention violently snatched away by your playing. Amazing job on the arrangement as always!
Great to have you back Lucas! Missed your amazing talent!
Ser you have so far outdone even your own insanely high standards, I don’t even know what to say. Just fantastic. Thank you
I bet even the great Wolfgang himself would have grooved so hard to this awesome arrangement.
Thanks for your work Mr Brar, you rock 🤘🏼
Or should I say Jazz !
I play guitar now for over half a century and it is a privilege to experience how you came to handle her is such a short time. you are in a class of your own. for me you are a master. I lean everytime i watch you play ,compose and arange and improvise and play some more
What a great memory to play these pieces like that.
I really appreciate that you did a one-take. The edited videos are fun sometimes, especially for the more comedic stuff, but live playing is just exciting. (Also as a guitarist, just getting to watch your hands.)
Right. Need to listen to the original now.
it's on mozart's youtube channel
@@silphv Nahhh
Look at me, this is the original now.
@@pedrotrigolemozart quit youtube :'(
listen to requiem aranea !!!!!!
Quel Talent !! Quelle leçon !! Définitivement l'un des plus grands guitaristes actuel si ce n'est le plus grand ! Quel musicien !
How is this even possible to play like this? Astonishing! I barely can notice where fingers go, so fast it happens... Even though I saw many other videos of Lucas, every new one is shockingly good.
Your best work to date imo thank you
My all time favourite classical piece of music gets the Brarification!
DUDE!!!! YOU sir are a MASTER of the guitar...the walking baselines, the dynamics, it's like you know every voicing of every possible chord. BRAVO
mannnn, you really are one of if not my favorite guitarist on youtube. Always love your arrangements!
Your mastery of the instrument is superb and such a gift to all that are lucky enough to experience your music. Thank you for sharing your talent!
wtf did this guy transform into a super saiyan or evolve into a charizard or something lately? Feel like his playing is on another level
This style my broo never be able style xdd
That was awesome, most original arrangement and guitar song I have heard for a long time, played brilliantly!
Jesus Christ!
I can't possibly imagine how hard is to adapt Lacrimosa into a Jazz style.
Congratulations my friend !
Yes man, thank you so much your existence makes me want to live more on earth
The latter part reminds me of Opeth 🔥
Yeah! Please Mr Brar, more prog 🤘
smth between Tool and Opeth
I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE! I was listening to this in the background and had to come back to the video to check in the comments if anyone else also noticed it.
Came here to say it.
Some stuff off of blackwater park for sure
That is really, really magical! Mozart's harmonies are sufficiently daring and jazz-near without your help, but your expansion upon it is just brilliant. _Huic ergo parce, Deus!_
Magnificent, thank You Lucas, once again…
It's bloody marvellous: all the virtuosity doesn't have to show off at all, but comes across very calmly and naturally. I've loved Mozart since I was three or four years old, so allow me to say that he would have loved this arrangement and this performance too.
I love Mozarts pieces, I enjoy jazz, I love playing the guitar - and this is just insane! Thank you so much, this changed the way I listen to and play music = this inspired me!
That went crazy at the end
Loved it
Never thought of it as a waltz til now.
I have always some skepticism when making new arrangements of old masterworks - but here the new one is a work of art of its own! Respect!
Fabulous! CZcams needs more content like this - sophisticated, inspired and just plain fun and totally unique. Give 'em something to chew on for a while! 👍
One of the best guitarists on CZcams imo!
Amazing arrangement ❤
Certainly you can deliver very pleasant surprises. This arrangement is a proof. Thanks a lot for MUSIC 💥👏
I'm so glad you are back
The sound quality and your talent is fantastic 🤩
That was crazy!! Thanks for sharing ❤
Your playing is like meditation. So super cool and awesome , that guitar sound like Symphony . Just Love it!
My new favourite
That was incredibly cool. I learned that in high school. Quite possibly your coolest rendition.
Very nice! Loving your work.
I literally love what you do, you are my actual main motivation about playing classical guitar and as time goes by, finding something that ispire me as a musician become more and more difficult, CZcams proposed your videos to me randomly, thankfully
SUPERB ! HIGHLY INNOVATIVE CREATIVE ! A NEW STYLE IN GUITAR PLAYING ! THANK YOU FOR THE PLEASURE OF THE EAR.
You are insane! You don’t know how much I’ve felt and enjoyed this arrengement 😍LOVELY
This is presumably your best work by far so far!
It was like music is fighting itself, then it was something I can't understand, then it was like a little bit of country and then an ost of some action movie with the chase scene... Crazy. I approve.
I'm amazed you chose that piece of music and managed to jazz it up! And it sounds incredible
Thank you. It sounds so good to my ears!
Already listening to this on repeat, love it
Lucas is quiet genius now 👌
I love all of your videos, but this one has got to be my favourite yet. Very creative vision. Bravo!
Yep once in a while show your serious side and art as it manifests it's self inside.
I have an ungodly amount of GAS for that guitar. You may not slavishly upload to appease the almighty algorithm, but when you do, it is deeply appreciated. Thank you.
so great so meticulously well arranged so raw so quiet and so on
Wow. The amount of work and passion to get there is impressive. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. ❤
Woww... first time wearing my new headphones and this drops... This is fantastic in every way! Thank you for all your hard work and sharing your amazing music with us!
There aren't many people who can get that much sound out of the guitar. Would love to see a duo with Andrew York, as I hear a lot of him in this arrangement. Bravo.
incredible! i love it so much
So well played and clean.
Bravo!
Such a marvelous arrangement for this piece. You're a real genious man. Thanks a lot for the video.
Stunning musicianship, inspirational arrangement, and just cool af - thank you for creating and sharing!
Wow! fantastic arrangement AND performance! Thank you!
Every time I watch you play I am just gobsmacked. You know very well what kind of level of skill you have achieved, but your attitude to the fretboard of what is often seen as a conservative classical instrument is very refreshing. It's reminiscent for me of the latter days before I went "cool" and bought a leccy guitar. I used to play all of our ensembles' tunes parts at once and entertain anyone who would listen. If only I'd stuck with it a bit longer and learned a bit more jazz ;P.
I watched your earlier videos and listened to your story I know where you're coming from. The strength and accuracy of your left hand on the fretboard is absolutely incredible to me, an ex-guitarist. And your ability to wander through the chords and modulations is just mesmerising. Thanks for your awesome vids. Also your guitar looks like something from The Walking Dead. And I thought mine was bad. Sounds good tho.
Impressive bro! Great arrangement and amazing performance! YEAH!
Wow wow wow!!! So freaking cool!
This is just awesome!!!! I have watched ALL your videos at least twice. This is the best ever!!!
You bad fellow. Keep em coming.
In addition to everything that is INSANELY great about this performance (let alone the arrangement) is that the intonation, as he moves up the neck, is spot on. Perhaps he is microbending some notes or that guitar was set up by a luthier of considerable skill (or a combination of both), but it is equally amazing! In a perfect world, Lucas and Yamandú would tour together!!!
This could even blow Mozart's mind.
Man, your songs are a treasure. Amazing. Thanks
I don't usually enjoy Mozart, Lacrimosa is one of the few exceptions but when I saw your name I didn't even realized it was an arrangement of a known piece. Amazing job as always!
You're not a Mozart enjoyer? That's kind of sus to start with.
@@whogivesacrapaboutastupidc2313 I find most of his music to be very boring. Of course I don't know every piece he wrote but that's because I didn't care enough about what I do know. Tastes are different.
@@jaumbzYou might enjoy his symphonies in g minor (#25 and 40) and his piano concerto #20 in D minor - my faves 🎶
@@vivijd14 Yeah, those are some of the pieces I do enjoy. XD
@@jaumbz Ah hahah! 🤪 good taste 😉
Gorgeous!
This arrangement is spectacularly awesome. Really Incredible!
I don't know what to say, this is simply amazing!
Woah that was amazing !!
Beautiful ❤
That's amazing 🎉❤
I always love your arrangements. Epic.
3:29 No crazy effects, just pure rare skill and personality taking a stroll together. 🫴🏾🍷
Jesus dude. That was amazing. Makes me feel inadequate, like standing in the urinal next to John Holmes.
My hands down favorite piece. Thank you.
love your arrangements
Feeling strong Laurence Juber and Alex de Grassi vibes from this performance. Mighty kudos for this one, Mr. Brar!
Bravo!
I was going to listen Baden Powell's version of Jesus Joy of Man's Desiring, but then CZcams suggested to me something similar: a classical tune played as a modern style by Lucas Brar. Great!
That was SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!😯😯😯😯👏👏👏
Lovely! Super arrangement and excellent performance. Love the variety in the arrangement.
Another resounding triumph for Jazz
This is crazy good, I could listen to a full concert of this and I am not a classical music person at all!
I thank heaven that this content is free
