It is actually due to presence of horizontal hole at the mid. Due to which, that section is looking as a curved part. You can see, the curves have been drawn at the hole area only. Above and below of that hole, straight lines are there.

Yes.. All hatch lines are ate 45 degree, parallel to each other at a constant gap of 2 to 5mm
