I love that you explain and demonstrate well the way you curl your hair. Some youtubers make tutorial on how to curl with a flat iron but end up cutting off the key part of the styling

Girl I know this old, but I just stumbled upon it and I can just say you’re lucky because my hair is like a Velcro rug! It doesn’t matter how much moisturizer or oils I put in it, it’s still bone dry! A flat iron glad through my hair like that and I have to relax because my hair is SO hard to manage😭
So to deal with hair frizz and static you could try a straightening oil that caters to that OR this could be about how you dry it. You should use a microfiber towel or tshirt when drying. Regular towels cause the static and frizz.

I appreciate how you explained the heat and the damage, we need that reminder sometimes. Alot of people are becoming straight (hair) naturals, which is kinda pointless if you want your ecurls to pop. If you don't care about popping curls then yeah I guesssss it benefits. The struggle is real so get it if that's the choice you've made.

Please can you tell me the best straightener make for curly hair
Infinitiprobyconair makes some of the best flatirons that are also consumer friendly! I would use a flatiron with a high degree of reaching 450. The best press comes from a squeaky clean wash and thorough blowdry. I would suggest using a clarifying or detoxing shampoo followed by a very hydrating conditioner and make sure its properly washed out. I can show you a video on my channel where I post some of my tools that I use personally. You can also follow my instagram @p.daleyhair or pennycanexplain on tiktok where I also have videos of the tools. ♥️

@pennycanexplain youre welcome! I have an excellent shampoo. I've mainly tried it on freshly washed hair and even a few days after the salon. My curling angle or technique just don't be working lol

Thank you so much! I appreciate the love ❤️. When I pin curl my hair I use the open hair pins, not bobby pins to keep them in place after wrapping the curl around my finger. I use a bonnet because the scarf will suffocate your curls. You want your hair to breathe as much as possible to avoid it getting oily.

After seeing your hair I went to Walmart, I am hoping to learn how to curl. I could do it myself instead of paying. I saw another video of someone demonstrating also I am trying to get the technique.

The key is a proper shampoo so this question is actually the most important! ♥️ I like to do two shampoos before any style (especially with irons) I use a clarifying or a detoxifying shampoo first to remove any product build up or oils piled on the scalp and then I use a moisturizing shampoo to put the moisture back into my hair and scalp and use a conditioner.
