Another great analysis, guys. With this album, Orzabal took more of a leadership position as a singer/songwriter. In doing this he paved the way for what the band would yet become, And looking at their catalog as a whole, I feel that he never wrote the same song twice. He remains one of the most unique songwriters in rock history. At least as far as I'm concerned.
It definitely has some progressive overtones for me its side 2 starting with broken segueing into head over heels broken live and finishing off with listen and Roland orzabal what an great guitar player that doesn't get recognized for his amazing guitar work on this album
