What do you think about the problems with the v belt ? Is it now fixed, that it don’t cut ?

They fixed the belt issue in 2021-2022. There was a bar in there that the belt would rub on and eventually cut it. The new bar is positioned differently and is rounded off to prevent belt fray.

is it possible to install that into an older 360 model? cus that would be killer to have. just dont want to buy a whole new 360 14 to get that only upgrade.

I would say no, the drive well is totally different from the old 360 model.

@@CrazyCranker thanks for the response. thanks kind of a bummer to find out. hopefully hobie would consider retro fitting or at least be backward compatible going forward. these kayaks are not cheap to swap out like that.

Hobie probably lost thousands of dollars in warranty repairs, that it prompted a hull design change. I would expect them to jack up the price a few hundred dollars because it. :( @@VooDoo2049
