- There is so much stuff happening in Taeyong's solo debut SHALALA's music video, so it can be a bit difficult to decipher what is actually happening during the first watch and reaction. But the MV actually conveys a very sincere and important message. I originally posted this break down/analysis of SHALALA on Twitter, but I got some requests to turn it into a video an upload on my channel, so here you go! Send it to a confused friend to help them understand hehe!

So many reactors were having trouble with this MV concept. I really appreciate this video and like your ideas! Thank you!
BRILLIANT...🌹❤️🔥
Thank you for this! I understood his video after watching it a few times and I love it! But I did see several reactions where the people totally didn’t get the video therefore had mixed reviews, which is sad bc both the video and the song are amazing. Taeyong has definitely changed my world since he came into it, and I love him so much! ❤
You know why I like your videos because how much you try to understand every song, dance video, his style and everything about him. You always show us 😁 like hey "that's why he is Lee Taeyong" 😅😅😅 thank you so much for doing so much hardwork 😘💓💓. I like how you appreciate taeyong and his hardwork 😘😘
I thought I understood what was going on in the video but you added so much more to it!
Thank you for your effort, shalala mv is very interesting and meaningful.
All reactors shoud see this and understood how creative Taeyong is! And I am also so proud of you bestie, just like TY, your creativities are amazing! THANK YOU!
I totally agree...💚🌹💚
Other people's ideas and he's creative here, amazing 😅
I love your interpretation of the MV 🎉🤩
Wow just wow u are on point perfectly explaining, thank u so so so much after knowing this plot everyone will understand that shalala is a masterpiece as it perfectly portrayed the plot with a unique take, thank u thank u
Love how you were able to explain the mv.. 💚 I've seen some reaction vids and they are so confused about it.. I guess bec they're overwhelmed by having a lot going on in the mv.. but for me, even though there's a lot happening there, I saw what the mv could be about.. & what I saw is that it's most likely about adjusting to a new environment, working hard though it's unfamiliar territory, thriving, excelling, & succeeding! That's what I automatically saw when I watched the mv.. & just what I've said in the mv comment section (not word for word), different TYs are put to different universes/times but they still excel ~ just like IRL TY... Whatever work/project is given to him, he excels in them! So basically, the mv is like a representation of TY himself! 😊💓
Wow thank you
I first saw the video and thought it was a fever dream lmao but this is actually really cool
Love your analysis and love the song and MV. I don't blame people who like the kpop status quo for not vibing with this one, but for me, it's SO good and I think Taeyong is incredibly courageous to give us this album that is so much himself. How lucky we are to have him. 👏❤😊 Just think, if it weren't for that recruiter with that piece of toast...
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow
Thanks for the video and interpretation. This is similar to my take, except I thought God here are authoritative figures that maintain the system in general (anyone that enforces the status quo, such as societal and cultural norms, etc.) rather than the big labels specifically. I also wonder if Taekken 5 (a play on Tekken?) 2:51 has any meaning?
