I am 23 and honestly it never occurred to me people cared about this. To be honest it can hurt to hear people have had all kinds of it. But honestly in todays world you gotta outweigh your positives and your negatives. I think it's good I don't stress out about it but I don't really have girl friends. But I see my time as spent better not trying to dog chase such things. There's more in life to enjoy don't ever rush yourself with these types of things. If anything I have probably saved myself the hassle and hussle of all this.

I don't know if the survey is just in the US. I'm going to assume it is, I think it's just people don't have the time. The economy is so fucked, people have to work themselves ragged and still live paycheck to paycheck. Everyone in my age group works two jobs, nobody has free time. I don't have time either. I have a girlfriend, but only because I met her through work. If I didn't....I would probably be part of that statistic, sadly. Because I don't have time to go to parties or get togethers. We only see each other on weekends.
The juggernaut theory sucks ass. It sounds true on paper. But I think it's always been an issue. Being a social butterfly and hanging with large groups will help you meet women, and they can like you for your personality instead. There are some "unfuckable" dudes in my college anime club (before covid) that had girlfriends. Lemme tell you, nobody loves harder than a fat m'lady anime fan. You could not get them to stop hugging their lady. At parties, they're the ones that fall asleep on the couch together cuddling up.

Steven Universe's targeted audience is kids, not adults. I love the show a lot, but I understand that it isn't meant for people my age. If Kaya is so angry at the show, he should redirect his anger to the fan base which is toxic. The show in itself isn't the problem, it's the people obsessed with it. It also is trying its best to normalize same-sex relationships to fill the space that opposes conservative ideals which also fills children's minds with toxic messages of hate. I understand if people think it's trying to force people to liking same-sex relationships, but again, it isn't meant for adults, it's meant for kids who are still learning how to socialize with people around them, that's why a lot of it is basically talking to it's audience as if they were kids.
