That should go a long way in working in his favour as long as he does not overdo it and come across cocky, then it could backfire, big time.

Actually, I have been watching these shows for so long now, I have actually, seen many of these artist at their start, auditioning on these shows, then watched what they turned into, over time. What the industry did to them, and what they allowed to be done to them, as well, I think. It's absolutely, everything about modern pop actually, and I've been longing for it to fade into oblivion for decades now. I'm actually, a little hopeful for Gen Z and this new Gen Alpha, as apparently, more and more of them are turning back to the old school, music of the 80s primarily, but other decades as well. If enough of them begin to do this, maybe we will see a revival of old school music, again, and along with it; a return to many other things from pop culture, from these decades, as well.
