Cool build I built similar motor been daily driven over 4 years now. I used dart shp block and am using dss gsx pistons. I'm almost at 440c.i. started out at 427
I know that engine is a beast💪🏾
@SSPENGINES383 yes sir. Made flawless road trip 9 hr straight 15mpg total round trip was 18hr 1000 miles. Was nervous at first but it was amazing I was the only caprice on the road didn't see another one the entire trip.

Hey SSP can you use the same crank and piston rods like you are using in this video with 0.60 pistons in a small block 350 ? Or are there some differences in the sizes of pistons ?
Good question and no simply because the 350 can't support this stroke crank or piston both are to large

Why do a 434 when you could do a BBC 454? Is it the RPM capabilities of the 434? Or is it just because its cheaper than a 454? My engine buiilder told me the 327 makes more HP per cubic inch than any other small block. Just wonderjng
I've done many 454s but the 434 is a fairly large cubic inch small block that makes way more power than a 454 big block even if you bore a 454 out to a 468 the 434 can Rev mode and in many cases make more hp
There is no substitution for cubic inches. 454 makes way more power and last longer without using Chinese parts.@@SSPENGINES383
