  • Minimoog Voyager Oldschool, played through a Digitech RP155 guitar FX pedal. For cases you don’t find your guitar 😉

    Yes!...I used to run my voyager through a Behringer distortion with wah wah. It sounded amazing and very much like a real guitar. I have not tried it with my model d.

    That thing is ripping … some digitech pedals are seriously great. Specially the crazy XP300

    THAT WAS AWESOME! Could you please post the control panel parameters? I already have A DOZEN fx pedals, but I would really love to know the dial settings you used!

      Thanks for your kind comment! Unfortunately I can’t remember what settings I used at that time, it’s been quite a while. I guess a combination of a ping pong delay, the stereo reverb and of course some distortion.

      @@Spektralfarben-Music Thanks for responding! If possible, could you please try to find the settings? No big deal if you can't, but that would be cool!

      Thanks a lot! I don't remember the settings in detail but it was a classic 3-oscillator sawtooth tone with an opened filter and a bit resonance. The main "character" of this sound comes from the guitar pedal ;) It was a setting with much distortion, flanger or phaser and a stereo delay.

    How do you have it hooked up?

    • @Spektralfarben-Music
      @Spektralfarben-Music  Před 5 lety

      Hi, quite simple: Moog OUT (mono) to Digitech RP155 IN, then Digitech stereo OUT into the mixer/audio interface, and this one into the iPad.

      @@Spektralfarben-Music Ah ok you have the entire output of the synth going to the pedal. I haven't had much success with inserting an overdrive pedal in the Mixer Out/Filter In section - I barely get any overdrive sound. I am trying to achieve a similar overdrive sound to the Sub 37, which is pre-filter.

      SammyVOfficial Yes, it’s the same here. I wasn’t happy with any FX routed through mixer out/filter in. So I played around with all kind of distortion, flanger and ping pong delays 😊. Thanks for listening and commenting!
