Its about time we get justice. I think the pilice officers in fort lauderdale florida are also responsible for this behavior and one day they to shall be prosecuted. Just as the person stated earlier.. We should not have police officer patroling neighborhoods with pilice officer who feel threaten by the people they are to protect. It dosent make sense.

@D. A. I think the judge was being tactful. Cuz if the family decides to file a civil suit against him he still has assets. IMO the judge knew what they were trying to do & that's to strip away everything from him knowing he's goin to stand trial. According to info, they only divorced bc of the situation. She was singing his praises up until they filed late 2020.

The whole idea that someone thought of as NOT thought of and not significant even in the black community was able to make such a a significant difference in the world, marks the beginning of positive even righteous change in the most common, street level places and person's thought of as common in our society and the world as a whole. Just goes to show that we all have yet to really and truly understand how critically vital ALL of our lives are to God and how much He values each one no matter our station in life or even what evil things we may have done in our lives. His sending His ONLY Son in exchange for each of our lives should have given us every indication and proof of this truth of His love. Amen...SELAH!

@@casual35 Because there is always a way out for white people. If you were put in a metal box , and chained down in the box with 100 pounds of bricks, 100 padlocks on the chains outside of the box ,and thrown in the bottom of the ocean, you'll still get out because of White Supremacy...Just don't trust what you all say and do...😁😬

That verdict was the trial of the century! Police don't usually go to prison for anything, maybe with a rare exception. And they just go on a mini vacation. There should be a police are not about the law, nationwide law.

Derek Chauvin did not exercise his right to testify in his own behalf but instead chose to take the "fifth", in what is the legal term used to say that he doesn't want to testify because of the ground(s) that he might incriminate himself. Some of us probably wondered why he made that decision, huh? I will share my thoughts on why Chauvin took that road. Upon my research, I found out that he had 18 complaints in 19 years against him for excessive force and other illegal practices that he took advantage of. One case was the choking of a 17 year old teenage boy in which he beat the kid about his head before grabbing him around his neck thus choking him before throwing him to the ground and placing his knee on his neck and back until the youth passed out despite the boys mother crying out and begging Chauvin to stop for fear that he might kill her baby. Just like he killed George Floyd...

Justice in this case...yes. The real question is will we get justice in sentencing? No need to get excited if Chauvin only gets 12 years in prison. He needs to be in jail for so long that if and when he gets out he won’t be able to be a police officer anywhere else.

What is she talking about, it's the defense's job to present their client with humanity?! Is she assuming he's humane to begin with. Give me a break with the stupid analysis! And Chauvin sits there when the verdict is delivered with his incredulous posturing look!
