Uhaul did that to me as well and I had to go out of my way to get to the next location. I’m glad that you were early and were able to have more than enough time to set up. Love your videos especially the lessons learn part. I’m not in the event space but I love watching your creativity.❤️

Omg sister I experienced the same thing this year on Easter for a baby shower and yes the Uhaul took all day and I was the second person in line on a Sunday 😳 then I get to the venue 45 minutes away only to wait another hour in parking lot because my nobody was there to let me in, But it still turned out beautiful thank The Most High🙌🏾🙌🏾

Omg I experienced a similar Uhaul situation here in Jersey this past weekend, I also had a baby shower. Reservation was made way in advance only for my brother to get there to pick it up for me and he was told they don't have one available, the only one they had was "out of service". They tried sending him to a further location, anyway after much back & forth turns out the only thing wrong with the "out of service" one was that the AC wasn't working!! It didn't even matter as it was a cool & very windy day! Long story short they ended up giving it to him & I was able to load up and get to my venue on time. Everything turned out so beautiful & my client was extremely happy 😊😊

May God continue to bless you too! Thank God you were able to get to your event in time. I normally don’t have any issues with UHaul. But after that I experience I just had, I’m really looking forward to getting my own van or truck.

Thank you! You can use Chrome gold from Qualatex. It’s more brown than yellow. It may be hard to find though.
Oh man that’s so unfortunate that the mistake happened especially the way it did, but thankfully it was resolved 🙌🏾🙌🏾. Thank God the truck didn’t hit you. The setup is so beautiful, love the colors.

That’s so true! Communication is key! I do have people volunteering to help me decorate events. Most of them are my CZcams subscribers though. ☺️

Not really. I partner with someone in my area to provide chairs and tables. I don’t have that type of space in my storage unit.

Very nice. Question....When purchasing items for a special event, do you charge the customer for renting the items or charge the customer and they keep the items. Or does it depend on the customers request?

I use an acrylic sheet as the topper. I get it from a local supplier in my area.

People that don’t plan parties don’t understand the importance of time, time is money. A party planner has this pressure on them to not only make things look beautiful in a short period of time but also b a problem solver.

No, I didn’t purchase them from Amazon.
Oh the client drama! My client didn't tell the venue the setup she wanted (ie: tables, chairs, podium) so I had to wait until 30 minutes before start time to set-up my backdrop and all the other decor. Needless to say, I was not happy with my design as it was rushed, uneven, and even the height was not level.
Do you use any type of trolly cart to move items from the UHaul into the venue and if so, what type?
Oh my! It’s always something, isn’t it? I don’t have any dollies yet but I’m looking into them. ☺️

They are fragile but my clients love them. I’ve had mine for a couple years now.

I have been designing and setting up for events over 25 plus years. Can I help you out a little... 1. For All of my client's they must relinquish/ authorize me to have full authority in handling the direct contact with all: venues; rentals companies; DJs; bands; bakers; any etc. 2. For me when I deal directly with everything vs. the client it creates less stress for them. I inform them they have to allow me to do my job in the most effective manner.
