Dansky, I've been watching your videos for a while and I wanted to just says thanks for making great content. I always wanted to get into graphic design and these videos are my bread and butter for learning stuff.
Your tutorials are really helpful! Keep them coming!! :)
learning something new with you every day brother, can't thank you enough!
2nd time saying thanks. My god, dude. You're truly a life-saver.
Could you maybe make a video on how to turn these into an actual font on your computer! Thanks very much and great videos!
Make outline strokes for those letters, then simply copy the vector and paste it to FontCreator. Simple CTRL C CTRL V
your tuts are for my designing i need and they are awesome!
Thanks for the tutorial, my dude. Didn't even realize I could play with shapes in such a way.
Perfect tutorials on your channel, thank you so much
Thanks Dansky, that was very helpful. now I have the mint design too :), don't worry I won't use it, I will use what I've learned to (fingers crossed) design my own custom logo, which may be faster than using regular fonts as a starting point...
I was just thinking how to create custom typo and here your video popped up.! You read my mind always ;) Thanks Dan!
Boom! There you go ;-)
You're amazing dansky
Your tuts are simple and awesome.
Thanks from the bottom of my heart
Your voice is sooooooo relaxing!
Your tuts are awesome! Thank you!

What do you say of the I's dot being linked to it like a fluid drop? I think it would be a cool touch

Brilliant tutorial. Learnt a lot....thank you!
love your videos man! thanks.
Cheers Kobe!
Thank you so much, same concept can be applied in a verity of apps.. like inkscape
7:41 just ude the ruler tool (comman R i think) and put a line for oriantation next to the bottom part of the t instead of copying it again and then adjusting it
I would create my own great logo with your tutorial!
Hi there,
is it good to add design/creative at the end of your brand
name. I hear mixed answers on this. Some people say add when starting
off others says don't add it. As a graphic designer I currently I have
design at the end of my unique name. It's been running for 1 year now
but don't know if i should remove to make it shorter. Your advice would
really help.
Thanks
thank u which key u press ke wo open hukar dikhta as like x-ray cope type
WoW! This was relaly helpful! Thank you
You’re welcome Vicky 👍😊
*clear, crisp and sharp..😀Wouldn't it be easy if we expand the text before changing its size..?*
Very useful, but I have a question: How can I make these letters or any shape to look like an technical drawing with dimensions? I'm waiting for your answer. Many thanks!
Dansky you are awesome man....true hero

good job. how to add new letter to existing 26 English letter and make it a computer font?
Can you help me with giving me some ideas for logo that contains " SPGF" letters in it? It can also be in cyrilic " СПГФ ". Thank you very much in advance.
Thank you!
you are the best dude
Thanks!
this is amazing thank you
You're welcome Yazeed :)
Fantastic tutorial.. Really helpful to learn custom lettering. But I am not able to create letter 'a' , 'g' , and 'y'.
Please make a tutorial to make these alphabets if you can.
thank you soo much 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
it's more easy to align items, use align tools, you can set a fixed width between elements. more easy than use a rectangle
That was very interesting and helpful for me. Thank you so much!
Excellent sir
Is there a way to save these letter as a font to use when typing a text (both in Adobe and Microsoft) instead of individually remaking them all one by one?
Alp Şerif Besen Check out the Illustrator plugin ‘Fontself’ it’s brilliant 👍
Very great tutorial, exactly what I needed today. I am a complete beginner and use Illustrator CS6. When I try to scale my first letter (like shown in 3:07) the stroke weight doesn't stay consistent. What did I miss ? Thank you very much.
sorry, I think I found the solution myself - in the presets ;-)
I love how simple and easy your videos are, they’re always so helpful! 🩷
I'm so glad to hear that - thank you! :)
it's Awsome 👌👌👌👌👌
Again, awesome video man! Definitely giving this a go tomorrow. One thing I'd like to add though: at around the 17 minute mark, you explain that we could unite all 4 letters together using the pathfinder panel, or if we prefer we could group them so we can easily ungroup them if we want. However, after some googling (since I wondered what the unite option in the pathfinder would do with separate objects), I've found that, when you have shapes that don't touch, as is with your letters, the unite option in the pathfinder panel will actually group them as well. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks Maikel. Yes if you select all letters and 'Unite' in the pathfinder panel it will turn into one complete shape, which kind of behaves very similarly to a group - in that you can select the whole thing as one, or use the Direct Selection Tool to select individual letters. Personally, I like to 'Unite' all letters/shapes once a design is totally finished, and Group shapes together whilst the design is still being actively developed. Hope this is helpful :)
Dansky Thanks, so it isn't exactly the same and I was wrong. Seems like a good idea yeah to combine everything into 1 shape that you can't simply alter anymore when you've finished your design, I'll remember that.
so impressive
wow thank you
awesome :DDD
can u make a video on how to make an already existing logo into a 3d logo
thanks a lot
Thank you SO much.
You're welcome :)
Wow, so clean...
I mean the video xD
Thanks so much Humberto!
When aligning the dot above the 'i' and the line from the 't' the Vertical Align Bottom tool moves both shapes to the very bottom of the page - am I missing something? (I want to add that I just discovered your videos today and I've learned so much already, thanks so far!)
Awesome, glad you're enjoying the videos Craig!
When you have both shapes selected, at the top there's an icon (looks kind of like an artboard shape) if you click that you can choose what to align to. Select "Align to Selection" and it will stop aligning your shapes to the very bottom of your artboard :)
Awesome, I thought I'd be missing something small but important - such is the way! Thanks again.
You're welcome :)
Help me !!!!!
in my stroke section its only the weight of the lines, how do i show more details?
FOUND IT! xDDD
N and T kerning hurt me a little when you positioned it with the box as per space between m and I and n haha

Can you please make a design for me Bharat
Why don't you use guidelines??
jan andersen Guides are useful, but weren't necessary for me in this tutorial.
Last
:(
Dude, I loved the tutorial, however, I think you missed out on the curve of the T going below the baseline. It looks a little shifted up because of that. I mean that is a generic design rule.
Second ;)
Very nice video! :)
Hey thanks!
Thanks for this video, it was very informative but the thing that I was the most important for me was the feature of "Global". Thank You very much! :D 😍
first
Scrubby zoom is better
LeaveJoeyAlone for some reason scrubby bugs me in illustrator 🤷🏻♂️
see i had scrubby on and it turned off and i can't get it back on
Go to the view dropdown and switch between CPU and GPU preview modes. You should get it back!
i did turn on animated zoom which that is meant to be. still no "photoshop" zoom. I swear it has different names every time
LeaveJoeyAlone what version of Illustrator are you using??
meme
Thank you!
