I have a problem with this speaker when I use it with the cover the bass sound sounds distorted but I take it apart and use it without the cover it sounds perfect without bass distortion. What could be the problem?

Had read that according to the battery could not be changed since once this fails and there would be no replacement, in your opinion if you can change? thanks.
In many cases I have found that replacing the battery will work but in some cases the board may be damaged to were even if you replace battery it wont function

I'm not sure about the speakers but the passive radiators on the xb31 at least, are different, they're bigger on the xb31

But only because I mistakenly removed it improperly and completely ripped off the soldered on piece.
