Cannot tell you how many times I’ve done that 😂. Some people I swear think their stuff is worth the same price as it probably cost them brand new for some reason. The most annoying part is when you politely put it down and they start explaining “its barely used” or “its never been used” or “it cost this and this at the store” blah blah blah to justify their exorbitant price. I always keep my mouth shut but sometimes I wanna say “dude, id be at the store right now if I wanted to buy stuff at store prices”.

New England Flips yeap, gotta love that one.....especially when most of the time I’m there to buy stuff to sell on eBay etc myself 😂 It’s usually either people sell things for usual garage sale prices because they know what they are and/or they have no attachment to the things or are moving and just want to get rid of anything they can at basically any price.... OR if they don’t know what prices usually are at garage sales and they try to sell them for either way lower than they could’ve or ask for way too much.

I live in a small town and the resellers would lowball all the garage sales so much that the sales have literally dried up. People just got tired of dealing with the aggressive ones.

At 6:55 there is a paint all pod they don’t really go for much unless there button ones. But if they have that they usually have other paintball stuff that u can buy for cheap and sell for a lot. They usually have Tippman paintball guns that u can buy for around 10 dollars and u can sell for like 75
I had to laugh when you held up the Kramer poster , my son likes him and ordered that exact same poster from Amazon and when he got it he took down the picture above the couch and put kramer up , his wife was not happy lol love watching your videos. There was a road case at the garage sale with the laptop and Berringer mixer and Siamese cable boxes - looked like a turntable case - I would have opened THAT for sure.
At the first sale you hit - there was a mini-Tonka fire truck on the table. Those are very collectible.
One thing with some mixing boards - they use proprietary power supplies which are mostly unobtainable if they're old - be sure to get the right power supplies, or the mixer may be nigh-on useless.

Over $20? Depends. We sold a lot of antique furniture and appliances at the last yard sale. Some items were $150.
Most things you can't ask for much seeing that it's a garage/yard sale. However,, you still can't ask ridiculous prices but if they're bigger items like nice furniture etc then yes you can and should ask more for it. If people are really wanting to get a good bit for stuff like that though then they should go sell that bigger stuff on like FB Marketplace. You'll get way more for it all day any day!

All of you all are correct. The price depends on the product and its value. Selling a couple decorations shouldn’t be over $5, $10 at that. But I completely understand where y’all are getting from. I have only been used to the way people yard sale in Kentucky, so states depend on how people yard sale.

Hello! I've been watching your videos for months, taking notes and soaking in the knowledge you generously provide. I am a new fellow ebayer. I was hoping you could walk us thru, start to finish, how you list and ship items. I seem to not being to great on my shipping charges and have tried numerous ways to no avail. Another question, at yard sales when you look up items you don't know about, do you do that in front of the person selling? I have experimented with that, when I do it before they seem to up the price. I am curious your thoughts on these issues I am having.

The way I yard sale.... post every item on Craigslist. American Pikers, Flea Market flip etc. Made reselling so popular garage sales are higher. People want $$$ for junk.

Hey John, Those cable boxes seemed a little light to be full. They should weigh 35-40 pounds for the 2 box bundle. You don't open these boxes to dispense the wire. Peek in the handle holes with a light and check the spools are full. I hope I'm wrong.
