A Surprising View on Mount Beacon, NY

And we're back in New York! On our first adventure back, we visited a hiking trail at Mount Beacon in the Hudson Valley Area. We didn't know much about the trail when we started and we were surprised at the many viewing points at the hilltop and were especially surprised to experience the tower! We did this hike in mid-September so it was still warm. I would highly recommend this hiking trail, more so during the fall so you can experience the colorful leaves. It is a difficult trail during the first two miles but the views are worth it!
