So some months ago boi jotaro challenged me to make a 3d game, and obviously i aint gonna say no to an invitation from jotaro, so i got to work on my very first 3d game, using Unity. It went fairly well, and we're not at part 4 of this series, where we're actually putting together a proper singleplayer.
i was going to make an evil robot, but ended up making a friendly robot instead, so i called him billy. and now karlson and billy are best friends. or at least billy seems to like karlson, even tho it might not be mutual. Anyway, robots are cool, so ill make some more for the next episode bois
The game is about parkour, pew pew, and physics. Regarding the movement, I might make a tutorial or upload on github or something when it's done. It's all done using forces and physics, so it's a very open and fun movement system! Anyway throw some more challenges at me cuz im ready boi

I find it hilarious that Billy was programmed to shoot you but is defective so now you bully him.
thing to add:
-middle mouse button waypoint - set a wp where r u looking at, and Billy should go over there (like for presure plates)

@@Danidev Better Idea with the grapple: attached with the arm, you know those games like COD? Best example CODM: BR the Ninja Class has a grappler attached to his arm, what about you do that? So you don't need those points and then simple as that, you can grapple anywhere.
Idea:
Whenever you die in Karlsson, Billy should be able to heal you, but once he does he will immediately shut down,lose his legs and become a powered off computer.

I have an idea, when the player shoots I think it would be pretty epic if the crosshair expanded for a short amount of time then returned back to its regular size to indicate that the gun has been used in another way!

I like it how do you were trying to make an enemy then you turned it into a nice robot that helps you in the game
Idea: Have Billy be useful, by giving him a “Stay” command so he can use the platforms for you to open gates and such.
I also want him to hit u if u hit him because when billy gets hurt it makes me sad
Better idea: When he is upside down he just waves his legs around and can't move, so bullying him will be part of the gameplay.
I feel like giving the character a second hand and making LMB shoot and RMB grapple would be a better option rather than grapple points. They feel way too limiting since you can only put them in specific part of the game, and also kind of go against the grain of the game, which is parkour physic freedom. If they're just stationary grapple points you as a map maker decide where to put they end up being very straight forward without much fun in them. Grapple use at 11:48 is exactly what makes it sick and fun in my opinion.
Anyway, just a bit of constructive opinion. Really enjoying seeing the progress of the game and your experience through it, looking forward to the full release.

In general unity is really cloggy and doesn't work well on bad pcs. I use Opengl to make games and it works well on potato pcs so that's why I rather use C++ than unity.

In Karlson you should add “Evil Billy” as the original would be the failed prototype, as billy might be stupid but you’ll need him as your companion in order to get through the evil billy robots were you have to solve a puzzle in order to hack the evil billy to get through what they’re guarding and another you should have project Dani which are drones to your choice that can be evil or companion as well change the story as much as you want.
