Facts
That London banter made me think I would love to see a top ten list of games one of your likes but the other doesn’t. Would be hilarious to watch one of you swoon over a game while the other silently rolls their eyes at the pick 😂

54 Port Royal
55 Kites

53. La Granja
52. Forbidden Island

That's a list of borderline trash games I can agree with.
@@stefanyordanov2885 I'm actually surprised at some of those positions; I would have thought Barenpark, Undaunted, and Isle of Skye would higher, at least over Deus and Forbidden Island. Maybe it was a "just in the moment" type thing when I went through the ranking engine...
@ThomasHelms I understand, we're all trash talking here. These games are great for sure, and the ones I played out of these I'd love play any time possible. Sadly I don't remember what my top 100 looks like outside my top 20 but out of the games you mentioned they all feel 50ish to me(this is not a dig at these games, that's still a pretty high spot)

Hallertau is a great game. Uwe.... always the challenge with the having enough food or supply to progress though....Uwe must have been a starving orphan! LOL! Thanks for the list!
Yay Hallertau is still on the list! Love that game so much! Also surprised to hear that only one West Kingdom game made Nick's top 100! 👀 Think I know which one!
Hey Nick, you're definitely in the small minority when it comes to Dune. But guess what? I don't like Garphill Games so I feel your pain. I like Legacy of Yu and Hadrian's Wall but the big box ones are just too crunchy and it feels like Shem shoehorns too many mechanics in. Also, I don't like The Miko's art style very much (another minority opinion). So even though we don't like different things at least we can be minority bros! lol
great list. Can you make a top mechanism list? Top worker placement game, top auction game, etc. I want to use that as a buying guide
We definitely want to do a list like that so we’ll put it on our to do list!
I've wanted to play Dune Imperium for awhile, especially Uprising, so Mike we should try and find a way to make that happen.
I have uprising, we will have to plan a day to play it.
Yes!!! Dead Cat's back ❤
Can't Stop is .. my highest played on BGA. LOL. No competition.
My 60 - 51:

52 - Horrified
51 - Folklore: The Affliction
Yes!
51Crokinole
52No Thanks!
53 7 Wonders
54Bohnanza
55Galaxy Trucker
56Istanbul
57Patchwork
58Flamme Rouge
59Next Station: London
60Letter Jam
You say there is variability in Space Station Phoenix, but I wouldn't know as BGA keeps giving me the humans hub. Three games, three human hubs. In all honesty good game though, I did rank it 77.
Mike, I’ll play London with you 🤗 Some really good games that are not for me in this set. I just struggle with Hallertau and Scholars while there are other Shem games I would always play before Shipwrights.
You have made a mortal sin by calling upon the Team Orange. You called and we came. Now you're officialy in our scope. Be aware. ( purple vs green ? )
I will just say, anyone who didn't like Dune: Imperium but likes the IP should try Uprising. I really loved it and I think it fixes some of the things people didn't like about the original..
I also don't like London despite loving basically every other Martin Wallace game I've played. My top 100 continued:
60. Smartphone Inc.
59. Earthborne Rangers
58. Lords of Vegas
57. War Chest
56. The Godfather: Corleone's Empire
55. Jaipur
54. Welcome to...
53. Era: Medieval Age
52. Inis
51. Dogfight: Rule the Skies in 20 Minutes
Nick, Wish you didnt mention the new Baseball highlights 2045 bases loaded edition...... I bought the original game based on your hype for it years ago and it didnt disappoint. I play it a couple times a year but as my colletcion grows, the less i get it to the table but I always wanted more starter decks without breaking the bank.... Well here we are.
Great video as usual! High quality, great visuals and commentary!
As of January 2024:
60. Tamashii: Chronicle of Ascend
59. Nightfall
58. Cyclades

55. Antidote
54. Devil May Cry: The Bloody Palace

Trash is good
51 Splendor Duel
52 The Wolves
53 It's a Wonderful World
54 Next Station: Tokyo
55 Draftosaurus
56 Summer Camp
57 Forest Shuffle
58 Bohnanza
59 Vast: The Crystal Caverns
60 Star Wars: The Card Game
Your intro song for this series has no right to be as good as it is.
I'm enjoying watching the comment section's descent into Heretics of Dune while I try to finish all of the mobile app's challenge mode.
Dune imperium my nr 2 all time :0
56 is very looooow in the rankings
But u guys play a lot of games of course
I’m neither Mike nor Nick when it comes to Dune Imperium. I think it’s good but not in my top 100. I like the mechanics and multi-use cards. However, I’ve found that if the game is close and competitive in score, it feels like it goes longer than I’d like it to. The classic comparison is with The Lost Ruins of Arnak, which I prefer because there is a predefined number of rounds, and the conflict isn’t with the other players. But Dune Imperium is still a decent game!
Did I hear you say "one 1 beats a 9, 10" in scout? Cuz I may have been playing it wrong...
EDIT: that was a syntax error... i feel very silly now
Londons solid. I suck at it though
60. Carcassonne
59. Paint the Roses
58. Akropolis
57. Dinosaur Island
56. Potion Explosion
55. First in Flight
54. Tiwanaku
53. Aqualin
52. Leaf
51. Fort
I've played carcassonne and first in flight. Love both. Interested in playing leaf.
Right there with you on Dune Imperium Nick. It’s on so many lists and I’m just just like whyyyyy
It's crazy that only 0.12% of your subscribers are currently backing your campaign
Yeah that’s kinda how it always goes but there’s plenty of videos that hopefully they will catch to remind them of it :)
Trash part but has some redemption qualities. I’d buy these games and display on my shelf for a shelfie then immediately toss in trash
Savage....the hatred for Dune:Imperium....what exactly does Nick hate about it?
We hate because long gameplay and hard game only few board gamer nerd gonna sit there forever or learn rules
I don’t like it because of how tight and restrictive it is. Personally prefer much more sandboxy games, but I get get why people like it
@@doitjustdoit-ee9ro Dune: Imperium takes no time to learn and is way shorter than most games they play. This comment makes no sense on their channel
Nick here! So the reason I don’t like Dune Imperium is the combat(battle?) stuff. I cannot stand when I go into a fight with way more troops and someone just has a card that gives them +5 power and I lose. I spent time gathering up my, stuff, went in and should win, and bam someone else wins the fight because they had a card. To me it feels like I just wasted all the time and effort to do that, for nothing. For whatever reason that just gets to me. It’s the exact same reason why I massively dislike Bloodrage. It does the same thing. And why I hate the combat in Scythe. I just don’t find that fun. If I want to have someone just “nope” me with a card, I’ll play Munchkin. I’d rather it be dice rolling. Because then it’s just straight up RNG. I can deal with bad dice rolls. But the other way takes all of the fun out of it for me.
So that’s why I don’t like it. I fully acknowledge that it’s a great game, and that I am in the minority on this one. But it’s an outstanding game that I never ever want to play again.
@@TheBrothersMurph Totally understandable, I have definitely been on the giving and receiving end of a couple of cards that swing the battle way too hard for the effort that's put into everything that leads up to that battle. Thanks for the explanation.
So glad Nick is on my side for Dune!
I think this game has beautiful ideas but executes them so poorly. The deckbuilding does not work since you only get to see the cards you buy 2-3 times/game, the worker placement is so unforgiving you always end up getting blocked and on top of that some intrigue cards are absolutely broken.
All of that has been fixed.
@@FKAGonorrhea Good for the ones who enjoy it then! I'm not buying any expansion from a game that I don't like though.
