- I found another rare error, die rotation UK £2 coin in the close inspection of the last £2 Coin Hunt! How valuable are these error coins? Plus I show you my full collection of rotated £2s.
This time it was a 2014 technology two pound coin, but a degree of rotation on that date that we have now added to our collection of errors!
We are yet to find a commemorative coin with a rotation, hopefully one day!

HI, found one. 2011, about 45-50' rotation. good condition, could have been in my jar for 10 years or maybe a few months. Must get one of those coin display things yours are in.
I would suggest that a 2011 MIGHT be a fake, they are really common that year and often have rotations. Could be legit, but could also not.

I recently found a 2015 Technology rotation error in a coin hunt, approx. 100-105° rotation clockwise if I measure it that same way you did. I had no idea of the value and all that would show up on Google was the 2015 Britannia rotation error, so glad to have come across this video. Unfortunately mine has a small black mark on it, possibly ink from a marker, so that probably hurts the value, but I don't intend to sell anyway as it's a nice little oddity for my collection
That's one thing I never think of checking the die rotation on the technologies. I will start now though. I wonder how many have passed through my hands over the years?

I found a 2004 rotation two pound yester day turning it around the other way the queen is looking directly up as if layed down prety cool find 🙂

I have a 2010 with the rim inscription the wrong way up.
From the Queen side, look on the edge of the coin, the inscription is upside down when it supposed to be the right way up!
There is no such thing as "the wrong way up", I'm afraid. I've done a video on this before. Edge inscriptions are put on before the faces of the coin are struck and can be either way up.

I found a 2015 technology 2pound . Center is blank back is missing most of the dots and where the queen's head is the silver bit is not inline can you tell me more about the coin please

5th one in just sold one £32 was listed a couple of month aswell not sure on your pricing on that one mate. When I flip them im the opposite to you I set the design side straight horses 🐎 for courses I suppose lol

My 2 pound coin has wonkey writing on the side, and the middle of the front and back is not stamped directly in the middle so it goes on to the gold bit a little, do you know if it would be worth anything more then 2 pound
Would have to see a picture to be honest, it depends how 'bad' it is. A lot of these 'errors' are actually within tolerance and just hyped up by people trying to make a quick buck.

Hi i have a 2015 2£ coin queens head at the top turn it over and the Britannia man with shield is head is at 5 o'clock and the fork is inbetween 6 and 7 o clock would that be worth anything

Facebook, eBay and experience. They do just look like £2, you're right, got to look a little closer! Some people just collect picture coins and that's fine, but there are much more different things to collect than just what looks 'obviously different'.

Some people definitely do, that's life. There is history behind the rotation of the coins as well though, especially as other countries have different orientation to us. It's more than just a 'bit of a mistake', if that makes sense.

Supposedly there is a way to heat the outside of the coin to break the seal between the outer and inner parts. Rotate the inner part and then cool rapidly. This is how it has been described to me. Don't know if true but seems mighty suspicious there are so many all of a sudden. Also, how many fake kew gardens are out there now
@@nicholaschandler3127 These are legitimate errors. If the inner pill had been rotated only, then it would be obvious because the Queen wouldn't align properly with the outer ring. It's pretty simple...
I must say this or it'll kill me if I don't. The background music is nightmarish I can't turn the volume down as you're narrating your videos! I tried watching one of your other videos but the music scrapped on my nerves so much I aborted watching it. I'm hoping one day you change it as I enjoy these coin hunter videos but on your one I'm not sure I can be thick skinned enough to cope! Sorry, I had to say it!
