Why I Chose the AMG GTR Over the Audi R8 V10+ and Ferrari FF

- After driving the Mercedes AMG GT R shortly after taking delivery of it, I have absolutely no regrets in choosing it over the Ferrari FF and Audi R8 V10 Plus! It's easily one of the best handling cars I've ever driven. Here's why I chose it over those two cars and what I plan to do with it! Happy to say I'll be doing lots of @RENNtechTV mods in the very near future.

I also picked the GTR over the V10+. Amazing car the Merc is, you can’t buy a new GTR anymore and the GT lineup is discontinued for 2022. Own a piece of history.

@@Sickwitit18 yeah hopefully I’ll be able to get something soon. I’ll probably end up with the r8 honestly but the base and then tune it since the plus can only be tuned to a certain extent then the power is tapped out

hello I purchased amg gtr new the same color,I had mclaren 570GT ,I think mclaren much faster more fun ,just mclaren getting alot of issue I know about that ,what is your opinion? Thank you very much for video

@@G0ddEityawesomebro I have sit in several R8. the sound is with OPF still crazy af. Cold Start is like earthquake, no V8 can reach this. Anyways the Screaming of the V10 N/A is so crazy I would choose the R8 all day over any V8. And the R8 is faster as the Merc

How does this car drive compared to your 458? Is it quicker?
Faster than a standard 458 just by looking at nurburgring times. Faster than a 488 even. But i have yet to test my 458 challenge evo build. Ill do a comparison video maybe!

@@G0ddEityawesome The GTR handles insanely well, I think it is much easier to drive fast than the 458. 458 has better turn in still I think because its lighter.
@@BrentRuiz not the weight of it it’s the steering rack, amg designed it for higher speed stability in nurburgring/track opposed to the very artificially fast and light steering of 458 ( not a knock loved my 458) but it’s not even a comparison between the two as you know in terms of chassis , mechanical grip, and the steering weight/heft is me... congrats on gtr
What do you think of the gt63s? Have you driven it? It has a faster time at the nurburg ring than the r8.

It's absurd! It feels like a sportscar, sounds like a muscle car, and handles unbelievably for a sedan. It's very obviously a 4 door version of the GTR

The amg has a way faster Nürburgring time and is walking ur shit when it comes to acceleration. My M6 would walk ur Nissan GT-R in a roll race too and it’s a family sedan vs your coupe “supercar” ...that’s sad
